String Breast Implants – What They Are and Do
I’ve noticed quite a few people have come upon this weblog while searching for a certain type of breast implant that, to my knowledge, is no longer in use due to some serious complications.
It’s called a string breast implant, and what it is, or was – was a breast implant that had string like appendages which over time would fill with fluid from your body when a women underwent breast augmentation surgery, and would naturally get bigger, and bigger and ….you get the point.
Basically, you can imagine the types of complications a device like this, which actually expands within your body, would cause to a woman’s body.
And it did, so much that they were discontinued from use several years ago to my knowledge. I’m going to do a little more research on this implant and get back with a more solid explanation.
