Plastic Surgery for Brides : Boob Dreams Come True

Well, it looks like we have yet one of the most trashiest reality shows ever.

It’s a new show that’s already being skewered as totally shallow and useless, but of course it will probably get ratings because that’s what a lot of people like to watch.

The new reality shows has brides-to-be competing for prizes that are plastic surgery procedures they want before they get married. Deep stuff, huh?  I think this may be sending the wrong message to young women, but alas, who can help what makes it on the tv?

There are sure to be lots of brides who want breast augmentation surgery as well as nose jobs, liposuction, and a myriad of other ridiculous surgeries that are available to us these days in order to improve our appearance – or in some cases, to make us look worse. We all know how facelifts can make people look ten times worse, right?

The show is called “Bridalplasty”, and has several brides competing to get the plastic surgery, or surgeries, of their dreams to make their nuptials all that much more “dreamy”.

Of course, every woman wants to look her most beautiful on her wedding day, something that most women dream about since the time they started thinking about boys “that way”.

I saw a few clips of this show and to be honest, for me as a woman, it’s embarrassing and degrading. But then again, most of the reality shows that have women, or men for that matter, battling it out and compromising their integrity and their pride for some prize are embarrassing to me.

The show has women competing in ridiculous competitions to the end of the competition, where the biggest prize winner can win thousands and thousand of dollar worth of plastic surgery.  Some of the women are shown in dresses with bandages on from other plastic surgeries that were performed on their faces.

Most of the women on the show appear to be pretty young, which is also disturbing. You wonder if they will look back on their participation in this ridiculous show and be embarrassed or have regret about the plastic surgeries they had as a result.

It’s one thing to go out on your own and get one thing fixed like breast implants for extremely small breasts, that has always bothered you, but some of these women are having multiple surgeries, which is just disturbing.
