Pink Ribbons for Breast Health
I’m seeing an increasing amount of the pink ribbons on cars and other places where they may be prominently displayed, which are a sign of support to breast cancer research, funding and furthering of finding good treatments and maybe even a cure for this potentially deadly female (mostly) disease.Â
This is definitely a good thing, since the pink ribbon can raise awareness and is seen as a thought provoking sign of substantial support for the coming together of the minds, so to speak, so that we can all contribute to the finding of a cure and better treatments which are not so debilitating as chemotherapy and radiation therapy so breast cacner patients can enjoy a better quality of life and better prognosis after they are treated for the cancer.
If you’d like to voice your support in the form of a visual, which is the best form of “marketing” for a thought or idea that one wants to spread, you can get it in a variety of places online. There is the Pink Ribbon Shop, which sells a variety of the pink ribbons, including ones that are magnetized and may be put on your car.Â
There is also the Susan G Komen foundation, which is a foundation that was built by the love of a sister for her sister who passed away from the disease, and has become perhaps the largest breast cancer awareness organization in the US today.
You can also make tax deductible charitable contributions to many of these organizations that are dedicated to finding the closest thing to a cure they can by raising money and awareness, and attracting the best talent that can be had for finding a cure and a better way of life for the patients who are treated.Â
