New Page on Herbs for Increasing Breast Milk Production

Breast News Magazine newsflash!  We have a new page, part of our new initiative to provide new mothers with the best and most updated information on breast feeding their babies.  We now have a breast feeding section on this blog dedicated to this subject since it is such an important topic these days. There are more and more women breast feeding now, in an effort to give their babies the biggest advantage in health and mental development that they can early on in life.

Breast feeding, as just about everyone knows now, helps an infant in countless ways. There is evidence that it helps increase a baby’s immunity to all types of sickness and gives them a better immune system because it passes on the mother’s antibodies to the infant, giving them a leg up when it comes to fighting flus and colds.  There is also evidence that breast fed children have a benefit over non breast fed children since they may be developmentally advanced when it comes to cognition and physical development.

There is also a deeper bonding process that happens with children who are breast fed vs. bottle fed, since breast feeding a child really gives that extra boost to mother and child bonding when the baby is at it’s most formative stages.  Of course, there is still bonding that occurs, but it is thought that breast feeding offers a deeper connection more quickly between mother and child.

A common concern with new mothers is that they are not producing enough breast milk.  For that reason, we have dedicated a few pages to this common problem. The first is the newest one, herbs  for increasing breast milk production, which tells of various natural herbs and botanicals that help women product more of this precious nutrition for their infants.

There is also another page on natural methods and tips for increasing breast milk production here at Ways to Increase Breast Milk Production.
