Exams for Detecting Breast Cancer Early
I was reading today about how important it is to go to your doctor and get screenings for breast cancer regularly, since the earlier the detection of breast cancer, the better your chances for full remission and survival.
The reason it’s so important is that once you’ve begun to experience the symptoms of cancer, it usually has advanced to a stage where it is more difficult to treat, and less likely that a full recovery will take place.
I’ve also been doing some reading and investigating on dietary strategies to fighting cancer and also for avoiding cancer. Interesting fact: it seems the macrobiotic diet has been very promising in helping to fight various types of cancer. I’ve even read a study where some patients with pancreatic cancer, one of the most deadly types of cancer had excellent results on this diet.
Definitely worth looking into. I don’t know about you, but I’m not sure I’d want to undergo chemotherapy if I did have cancer. I would probably go the natural route and leave it up to nature and my body to heal itself. I’ve seen two people close to me die very soon after receiving chemotherapy, and I often wonder now if that was the best choice.
