Christina Aguilera has been in the news a lot lately. One, because the hyper-talented singer has just divorced her husband, and two, because she is starring in a movie called Burlesque, with another legend in the singing world, Cher. Christina, who has been talented since a very young age, and has always known she was destined to entertain by singing, is in my opinion, one of the most talented singers of our time.
I recently saw her (her infamous big boobs, pushed up to the max in a great dress, she looked fantastic) perform on Conan, and she really blew me away. I may not have agreed with her personal when she came out with the video Dirrrty, but she’s really morphed into something a little more classy these days, opting instead for a more old Hollywood glamour look – most of the time anyways.
The reason lately that Christina has been in the news though is because some pictures showing her very scantily clad and exposing most of her breasts in some of them, were allegedly stolen from her stylists computer and put online.
I say allegedly, because sometimes you have to wonder if a celebrity’s PR team is really behind these “stolen and publicized” images, or purposefully leaked information. I do believe these were stolen though, because I don’t see a purpose as to why her PR people would leak these.
She looks great, don’t get me wrong, but there’s really no purpose behind them, other than to perhaps keep the publicity machine going for her new movie (which actually has been out a few weeks now). And her breast, while I do believe she’s gotten a celebrity boob job, look fantastic whatever the surgeon did.
The movie got mixed reviews. I have not seen it, but probably will eventually see it when it comes out on DVD, but I heard that the plot line is pretty thin through a lot of it, and that’s the main complaint behind it.
The costumes and singing numbers are supposed to be terrific though, so it will be interesting to see it when I finally do rent it.
