With the economy in the dumper the way it’s been for the past couple of years, women are looking for less expensive and more natural ways to increase their breast size.  While there are plenty of products on the market that can help to enhance the beauty and perkiness and firmness of the breasts, there are a few that can really help to increase their size naturally.

There are two families of products when it comes to natural breast enhancement products, which are usually sold as supplements since one must really take a supplement in order to initiate the biological changes within their body to make their breasts grow.

2 Types of Natural Breast Enhancement Supplements :

Herbal : Herbal pills are by far the most popular because they can be very cost effective. These are often filled with herbs and vitamins that have some sort of estrogenic effect on the body. They are also called phytoestrogens.  These active plant chemicals travel about the body and interact with the thousands of other natural biological hormones and chemicals in the body as estrogens would.

Non Herbal Breast Enhancement – This primarily consists of a product called Bountiful Breast, which is a non-herbal therapy that is designed to increase breast size gradually, over a period of anywhere from 4-9 months by using a therapy that stimulates certain glands in the body which are responsible for breast growth.

This can take time, but also women have reported that they feel a difference right away. The regimen is often supported with protein shakes, which help to increase the effectiveness of the breast enhancing properties of the supplement taken. Also, it is recommended you supplement with another common, inexpensive supplement you can find anywhere else to really add bang for your buck and get great results.

HAPPY NEW YEAR READERS!!!!  What is your new years resolution?  Come on, don’t pretend like you don’t have one. We know you do, even if you’re not willing to tell it.  Let’s face it, one of the reasons we don’t set resolutions for ourselves is because we are afraid we will let ourselves down.

Or, if we actually say the resolution out loud, we are afraid other people will know we didn’t stick to it, or they will think it’s shallow, or weird, or just plain silly. Well, it doesn’t matter what anyone thinks, you should have some sort of resolution every year.

And it doesn’t always need to be getting to the gym more and losing weight   Matter of fact, maybe you should specifically make the rule that you can’t have the same new year’s resolution twice in a row.

This way, you can round them out and diversify your goals a little more. This also gives you an opportunity to get to know yourself better. Your strengths, your weaknesses, and your inner most desires.

Sometimes, when you read about practices that occur in the world, you feel lucky that you live in a somewhat organized, logical and safe society. However, rememer that this kind of stuff can happen here in families or in private, and that there can often be barbaric practices right under your nose and you may not even know it.

In Cameroon, which is an African nation, breast ironing, a practice to which mothers of teen girls have been taking for several decades, is still a barbaric, scarring and emotionally jarring practice that is done on teen girls by their own mothers. It is estimated that about one in four teen girls still undergo this procedure at the hands of their own mothers.

While it is true that mothers do this for what they feel is the protection from pregnancy for their daughters, it is nonetheless still a terrible, inhumane and sexist tradition.  The problem, women say that are advocating its stoppage as a practice, is sex education.

In Cameroon, mothers do not feel comfortable talking to their daughters about sex. Instead, they think that putting a hot iron on their daughters breasts, scarring them for life, and making them less attractive to boys so they won’t get pregnant, is a way to protect them from getting pregnant.

They think that if they make their teen daughters less desirable to men, they will be less likely to get pregnant at an early age. They do it because they are trying to provide for a better start into adulthood for their daughters so they don’t have a child too early, but in essence, they are leaving these teen girls with an emotionally scarred memory, as well as scarring their breasts – a treasured sign of femininity in every culture – for the rest of the lives.

Education programs are under way to educate mothers of daughters that they do not need to do this, in an effort to stop this archaic practice.  They are trying to educate mothers on how to approach and talk to their teens about sex and how to protect themselves from getting pregnant and from STD’s if they choose to become sexually active.

They are hoping to end this unspeakable practice, once and for all.

Southwest Medical Group’s Dr. Allen Gabriel and five colleagues use computerized 4D Photography to verify objective manual measurements to enhance treatment planning, outcomes, and patient satisfaction.  This is the article that was forwarded to me on this interesting topic – the importance of breast wall asymmetry in breast implant surgery - enjoy!

VANCOUVER, Wash. – August 2, 2011. Nearly 100% of women planning breast enhancement surgery are likely to have statistically significant differences between their right and left breasts, according to a new study published in the June issue of the Aesthetic Surgery Journal. The study describes the use of 4D computerized photography to document the incidence of breast soft tissue and chest wall asymmetries.

The study evaluated the extent of preexisting breast asymmetry in 117 patient volunteers who desired breast enhancement. It also assessed the effectiveness of traditional manual methods of measurement versus those obtained through the use of computerized measurement photography.

Significant differences between right and left breast were found in 81.7% of women in one or more of the measured dimensions of the study.

Manual measures were confirmed using the 4D photography, and there were no significant differences found between the two measurement types for breast soft tissue. However, the study documented a significant difference in the number of chest wall asymmetries identified by 4D photography (Precision Light, Los Gatos, California), effectively raising the overall incidence of asymmetry to nearly 100%.

“This study helps drive home the point that appropriate measurements of both soft tissue and chest wall asymmetries are essential to help the surgeon perform an efficient and accurate operation with the best outcomes,” stated Allen Gabriel, MD, Chief of Plastic Surgery at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver.

“It’s critical for patients to seek out the care of a qualified board certified plastic surgeon who is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Breast augmentation is not a simple procedure, and patients should be part of the decision making process to ensure good outcomes and high post operative satisfaction,” added Dr. Gabriel.

The more traditional tools used for assessing the dimensions of the breast are considered by most surgeons as reliable, albeit somewhat subjective; but these same tools can be even more subjective when it comes to assessing asymmetry in the chest wall. The study points out physicians often rely on their “artistic eye” and judgment in the operating room to achieve symmetrical breasts.

With its ability to provide more precise, quantifiable pictures of a patient’s existing asymmetry, 4D photography can eliminate some of the subjectivity resulting in higher patient satisfaction and fewer cases of resurgeries.

When it comes to our breasts, the way men and women view this particular part of the anatomy is very different when it comes to their own bodies. Women tend to want larger, fuller breasts, while of course men do not want this part of their body to grow because the breasts are traditionally a female body part that identifies women and men and separates them from one another.

It’s only July, and so far I’ve seen examples of both men and women trying to either show what they’ve got or cover up what they’re ashamed of in the summer time. For men, it’s often covering up this part of the body that makes life hard to enjoy.

Imagine a man who suffers from gynecomastia, the disorder that makes men grow larger breasts and feminizes their appearance, and how much angst he must feel when going to the beach, or perhaps a water park, where he has to disrobe and show his chest?

Or imagine a woman who either has breasts that are saggy and have stretch marks, or has breasts that she feels are way too small, way too big, or asymmetrical in some noticeable way?

Both of these scenarios can be troublesome, and can really interfere with enjoyment of the summer time. Summer is traditionally a time where you can feel more free, and you can dress more minimally. Part of the great fun of summer is feeling the warm sun on your skin, on your chest, and feeling the gentle breeze against parts of your body that don’t always get to see the light of day.

It’s putting on a bathing suit, or swim trunks, and being able to bare the upper part of your body without feeling a constant nagging burden of shame.

People who have a lot of self conscious feelings about the chest area, whether they are a man worried about his flabby chest, or a woman worrying about her small breasts, really have something taken away from them during this time of peace and freedom from the binding times of winter.

You’ve probably seen ads for breast enhancement and breast enlargement creams before. They usually are used to help lift, tone and make the breasts more perky .Almost like a breast lift in a bottle.  They are like anti aging and firming creams for your face in a way, only some of them can actually enlarge the breast tissue, and make the breasts look much firmer and more lifted, for women who are concerned about sagging.

They often contain some estrogenic plant extracts that help to stimulate the natural hormones in the body which lift and make the breasts larger looking, and in some women they can actually cause an increase in cup size as well (of course this depends on the formula and what it’s made to do).  At any rate, don’t expect an overnight miracle.

These breast enhancing creams are not designed that way. As with any other bioactive lotions or topical ingredients, you have to give them time to work, and you also must make sure you use them regularly for them to gain momentum and start to really change the way the breasts look and feel.

Other ingredients may include tightening and firming actives which help to lift and tone the breast tissue. Hey, don’t laugh, because the breast tissue responds to external lotions and creams, just like the face. I know you probably have certain facial products that you favor too. And why? Because certain types of facial skincare change the way your face looks, that’s why!

Why would breast care be any different? Especially as we age and our breast tissue changes, just like everywhere else on our body!  You can even dab some of these creams between your breasts, where those creases tend to occur if you’re a side sleeper, and they can help prevent that aged look there as well by plumping out that skin.

Breast enhancement creams are like anti aging creams for your face, only they are for your breasts.  Sometimes they are only meant to be used for a short period of time, say a few months, if they are being used to achieve a larger breast size or much firmer breasts, and sometimes they are formulated to be used on an ongoing basis, you really just have to read the labels or aks the manufacturer the question of what is the safest and most effective time duration to us their product.

I remember, when I was still flat chested, and was listening raptly, years ago, to a now ex boyfriend’s older sister, who happened to have a nice chest herself, say that she was totally flat, like an A cup, before she had her son. Her son was about three at the time, and I was amazed that she didn’t have boobs before she had her first child.

The conventional wisdom is that women often get larger breasts when they are breast feeding, true, and many times they even stay big after they’ve been done breast feeding for a while. However, the biggest problem that women have with their breasts after having children and especially after breast feeding, is that their breasts literally “deflate” after they are done breast feeding.

This often leaves their breasts looking saggy and almost like they’ve lost a lot of their previousl density. Density is what makes breasts look full, round and lifted, When tissue density is compromised, whic his often what happens after breast feeding children occurs, the breasts lose a lot of their lift and their fullness, and they tend to have that deflated appearance that so many women hate.

This is why a lot of women, after having children and breast feeding, choose to get breast implant alternatives, or choose to get breast implants or breast lifts surgically, since they would like to have their former fullness back.

However, there are some women who are really, really lucky, and they get the best of both worlds. Occasionally, some women will get larger breasts that actually stay perky and lifted, and don’t lose their tissue density after breast feeding. This is rare because of what breast feeding does to the breasts.

I know a few women who say that they have a lot better bodies after they’ve had children. It is few and far between unfortunately, but there are women out there who get the bigger boobs after they have the babies. 

After knowing all the wonderful, wonderful benefits of breast feeding your child, how could you not decide to go that route though?  Breast feeding is one of the best gifts you can give your infant, if it is something that fits into your lifestyle and that you believe in personally. 

So, if you’re not happy with your breasts after breast feeding, know that there are natural alternatives to get the fullness and lift back.

Our breasts are one of the main things that set us apart from men. In fact for many women, they are what make us feminine. Their development was one of the first signs of our entry into womanhood. Unfortunately they are not without their challenges that are related to both the function and the appearance.

If your unhappiness is due to function, i.e. you are not getting enough milk to feed your baby, there are ways you can increase milk production. First of all feed your baby every time he is hungry and allow him to feed as long as he prefers. Trying to put him on a schedule will only frustrate both of you.

Also, try not to supplement with formulas. Although there are many types of’ formulas on the market and they are all considered acceptable alternatives, regular use of them can decrease milk production. Most importantly, be patient. It can take weeks for milk production to be in sync with your babies needs.

If your problem lies with the look or size of the breast you may be tempted to consider a lift or an implant to reshape the breast. However there are alternatives to this that you should first consider. Exercise can firm, reshape and lift your breast to some extent, although it will not increase the size.

The look is not as drastic as an implant but it may help some to feel good about their breasts again. Special bras work to lift and shape your breasts. They can give a youthful lift.

While most bras do not increase the size they can make your breasts appear larger. Other ways to increase size and firmness include special tapes and bra inserts or push up bras. Other alternatives such as breast enlargement pills and breast enhancement creams are another options you can choose.

Of course none of these ways may have the exact results as the implant has, especially if much larger breasts are your main concern. However, they do not come with the risks that surgery comes with and there is no recovery time. Also the difference in price is significant. So even if you do not think these will make you happy you should at least try some of these methods first.

In conclusions, our breasts serve to both help nourish our babies and to make us feel feminine, and if they serve as a point of insecurity for you, it’s totally your prerogative to seek out alternatives for larger breasts.
