Natrelle Breast Implants

It seems that the Natrelle brand of breast implants has really taken off since they announced the lift of the ban on silicone implants.  For women who want more natural looking breast implant options, this is probably a good thing, although I will admit the idea of silicone in your body still puts many at unease, and there are some seriously fired up consumer rights groups over the lift on the ban.

However, it is important to note that silicone breast implant makers have committed to making these silicone encapsulated implants safer by reinforcing them and protecting against rupture and leakage.  Of course, many may scoff at this, but at least it’s some measure of comfort that they are a bit safer as a silicone breast implant alternative.

The problem with saline implants, although they would be completely harmless if they broke in the body, because they are nothing but a salt water that is harmlessly absorbed into the body if they break, is that they simply are not as natural feeling as silicone.

Silicone implants made by Natrelle are offered in several different sizes and shapes, and they offer options for nearly every desired breast implant look. If you want them shaped a little more natural, or you want them positioned higher or lower on your chest, you can pretty much get customized looks for how you want your new boobs to look and feel.

They also offer the “gummy bear” implant, which is a cohesive silicone product that tends to feel and bounce a little more naturally, more like real breasts do (keep in mind, most implants will never totally look and feel like real breasts though, unless you have LOTS of padding of real breast tissue over them.)  Some women may choose to have implants but also to have more natural breast tissue as well, sort of masking the implant.

If you are one of those women, you may want to look into a natural breast enhancement option so you can enhance the breast tissue as well, but still have the implant for the lift and contour and shape and size that you desire, if that makes sense!

Natrelle implants have gained enormous popularity because they are so diverse and they feel better than a lot of other implants do, so it’s worth a gander if you’re in the market for breast implants – or new breast implants if you already have them!

The Most Common Complaints About Breast Implants

Women’s search for better looks has gone far beyond the usual make-up and waxing. Since men are more attracted to what a woman’s body has to offer, they are willing to take surgical procedures for breast implants to increase body-look impression.  Yes, this is unfortunate, but it’s true, at least in a lot of women’s minds, and hey, a lot of women get them for themselves  let’s not forget that!

A woman is free to make a decision weather she would like to increase the size of her breasts, but rarely does she takes into consideration the after math of the operation.
Now, every human being has a history of complaining about the things they have after the purchase. There are also a lot of natural breast implant alternatives on the market today that are worth a gander if you are unhappy with your breast size.

No matter how long it took you to decide on the purchase, there will always be something you can find eligible for complaining. Complaining in the form of: ‘Maybe I shouldn’t have taken this color.’ or ‘the older version seemed better’, and etc.

After leaving the hospital with a new looks of breast implants, women instinctively look for flaws in the results. They start complaining about of the implants not giving the size they’ve expected; they are too big; they are too small; maybe I shouldn’t have done this; it is too painful; and etc.

All of these are unnecessary complains. Many preparations and patient’s decision are made before the operation table. Since they have decided on that kind of procedure, they should be fair enough to respect the results.

Complaints go further then the previous one and they seem to be more important. What women should be worry about is the aftermath of the operation. Some experience scar pain longer then it should be.

Many of them don’t know that breast implants don’t last forever. They need to be replaced (if the patient wishes) after two or three years. If not, the body’s health is in danger.
There is always a possibility of infection. Not every female body reacts the same after the procedure. Infections in these procedures are very rare, but need to be taken into consideration.

Another danger is Ruptured implants. As science goes further, ruptured implants become a thing of the past. Old implants may have the danger of rupturing and causing health problems.

Scar tissue forming around the implants sometimes tightens the implants. This will lead to different shape and harder implants.  Putting all complaints into together in one place, it is clear the most of them are ‘painless’, meaning, not about post-operation situations. Some women have difficulties adapting to their new looks and fear that someone will find them unattractive.

What’s the Difference Between Smooth and Textured Implants?

I was reading the other day about saline breast implants, and I had never known that there were two different types of silicone shells (yes, although saline implants are filled with harmless saline, their shells are still made of silicone because of it’s durability and dependability, it’s the silicone gel filling that cause the major health concerns).  These two different types of outer shells for saline implants are smooth and textured. It is exactly what it sounds like.

One has a smooth surface, while the other one has a rougher, textured surface, sort of like you might see on other plastic surfaces, like for instance I have a plastic cutting board that has a smooth side and then also has a textured side for better traction.

While better traction might be a reality outside the body with textured plastic, it actually is supposed to cause a slightly higher risk of deflation or rupturing of the implant when a textured shell is used rather than a smooth shell, which I thought was interesting since I thought the opposite would be true. Then again, sometimes the seemingly most intuitive isn’t always the answer!

Here’s the reason that textured implants may be superior in another way to smooth though. It’s the whole traction thing I talked about. While rough surfaces on implant shells may increase the rupturing risk, they actually DECREASE the risk of implant migration. That’s right, these rougher surfaces help to keep the implant in the right place both during and after the operation so the implant won’t turn, flip or slip down or up in the cavity where it is supposed to be.

You may have heard some horror stories about implant migration, and it probably isn’t a fun thing since it can make the breasts look lopsided or asymetrical if it is severe enough, and can result in the implant needing to be replaced or repositioned, which means another surgery. However, the risk is higher with deflation with these as well, so it’s wise to talk to your doctor about the different implant alternatives as well before you make your choice about what to go with.

Textured surfaced implants also increase the risk of rippling or wrinkling of the implant as well, and they can be more difficult to replace than the smooth type, so this is another consideration to add to the pile when you are making this critical decision.

The Difference Between Silicone and Saline Implants

Those women who desire to have larger breasts via breast augmentation or breast implant surgery, have a couple of options these days when it comes to what materials they will be having implanted into their chest to make their breasts appear larger.

The FDA approved silicone breast implants to be re-introduced into general cosmetic surgery usage back in 2006, after much debate and uproar from women and groups who claimed to have had health problems that were associated with their silicone breast implants leaking into their bodies and causing autoimmune types of responses.

Now, the FDA has said that the newer, more robust and safe silicone implant which is supposedly more reinforced against breakage and leakage, is ok for general use.  It has been re-introduced to women as an option when they are considering getting breast implants, whether for the first time or for the second time as a replacement, since breast implants need to be redone every ten years roughly.

Many women, dissatisfied with what they describe as an unnatural feel with saline implants, may switch theirs out for silicone when they get them replaced.  Apparently the difference is that saline implants actually may show rippling more than the gel silicone implants.  Many, if not most, times, you can see some sort of rippling on the sides or underneath the breasts with saline implants.

Also, silicone are supposed to feel more natural, although the actual appearance of the implants is the same as with saline.  Some surgeons may recommend that women with very little existing breast tissue get silicone implants, since the more existing breast tissue there is, the more natural the end result will look and feel.  Silicone may run a bit more expensive as well.  They generally may range a few thousand dollars more than saline, say 6k to 8k instead of about 4k to 5k, depending on where you go to get your implants done.

If none of this sounds good to you, or you already have implants and just want more natural breast tissue to make them feel more natural, you may want to look into  the Bountiful Breast product, which is a natural breast growth encouraging system that helps your breasts to naturally grow larger and more full on their own over time.

Breast Enlargement Most Popular Surgery Today

Apparently breast augmentation surgery, where an encased implant is put into the chest of women desiring larger breasts, is the most popular elective plastic surgery now. It used to be behind other operations in the plastic surgery arena, but it is now the coveted number one spot for surgeries.  Guess how many women undergo the knife every day to get implants put in to their bodies for larger breasts now? It’s roughly 1,000 women every day!  That’s a lot of boobies being inserted into chests every day!

Even though there are some natural breast implant alternatives on the market today that can do a good  job of enlarging the breasts substantially without surgery, women still want the instant gratification of breast implants, and are willing to pay the price for them, which is still hovering around $5,000 to my knowledge, a price that it has stayed fairly consistent at for several years now.

Breast augmentation is so popular because the media shows images of large breasted women constantly. If I had a nickel for every model baring her ample cleavage who still some how has no waist at all, I’d be rich. So, not only are we as women subject to the stereotype of having large breasts, but we are also held to the impossible standard of having large breasts with small waists.

I don’t know about you, but common sense and experience has shown me that large breasts rarely go with small waists, because women with large breasts tend to usually have more body fat, and they don’t have tiny waists, so the only way for lots of women to achieve this impossible standard is to stay thin, and then get breast augmentation. Talk about an unfair beauty standard, this is the definition of one!

Breast augmentation is actually a fairly safe surgery with little complications. The most complications come in when someone might be allergic to or react badly to the anesthesia, or if they have complications with the implants themselves being rejected by the body, or becoming infected at the site of the operation.

Other complications that are still a threat, and which have been a reason for some women seeking breast implant alternatives, are implant migration, rupturing, and something called capsular contracture, a painful condition when scar tissue envelopes the implant, making it harden and become painful to the touch. This is often the reason that women have to get them removed, since sometimes it is so severe that it cannot be corrected.

Why Do Some Celebrities Go So Big withTheir Implants?

I just can’t help it, when I look at breast implants that literally look painful to have, I just wonder, why did these women think that they needed to go THAT big? I mean, I know that in this increasingly breast obsessed world that bigger is better, but have they considered what carrying this heavy weight around on their chests might do to their back? Or have they considered how they might feel a tad ridiculous in these larger than life breast implants when they get a little older?

Not only that, but the larger your breast implants are, the more likely they might be to migrate, to potentially rupture and basically they may just be more likely to cause problems because of their sheer size and overwhelming weight.

The more space they take up, the worse off you might be, in other words. Not only that, but downsizing maybe be difficult after having DD cups or F cups since you have stretched the skin out so much with those large implants, that you actually get a saggy look and slackened skin from the stretching.

When I look at the huge ones that women like Ivanka Trump seems to have gotten, and also most recently Heidi Montag got (I believe hers are F’s), I just think “ouch”, those really look like they might cause some serious pain. Breasts that are that large on an otherwise smaller framed woman really look overwhelming. The eye is just drawn right there because of the obvious top heaviness of the appearance.

These women may not realize that with these giant breast implants they will get a LOT more unwanted attention and focus on this area. In other words, all the reasons they thought they got them this big (to garner more attention or perhaps envy?) may end up being the very thing they absolutely hate most about them. Stars like the naturally gorgeous and voluptuous Christina Hendricks, from Mad Men who plays Joan Holloway, look natural with breasts this large because it fits their body.

Other, skinnier girls, it just looks totally unnatural and bordering on ludicrous. That’s my opinion, and I’m sticking to it. Of course, to each their own, and I’m fully supportive of women who elect to better themselves, but there is a point where you also must consider your comfort.

Heidi Montag’s New Breasts Look Like They’re Going to Explode!

Here’s how I feel about plastic surgery. If it makes you happy, and you’re prepared for the outcome to be less than perfect, then you go ahead and do it. Don’t go in to it with unrealistic expectations of total and pure perfection, or of this making you happy and fulfilled, because my friends, you are in charge of doing that for yourself.

And no new pair of breasts, no matter how you aquired them whether through breast implant alternatives of through breast implants themselves, will give you the self esteem and true self acceptance that self love will give.

That being said, WTH was Heidi Montag thinking when she upgraded her already large breast implants to a ridiculous size F cup? Have you seen the latest pictures of Heidi in her bikini?  They seriously look PAINFUL to be sitting on you chest.  And also, her waist looks nonexistent next to them, making her look like she’s going to topple over.

After receiving much press over getting several plastic surgery procedures done all within succession of one another, I wonder what Ms. Montag is going to do when she realizes that when you play the dangerous game of changing everything about your appearance, you start to obsess about every little imperfection and your life revolves around that.

I think it’s an existence that may become sad and obsessed for this young woman, who is still so young with so much natural beauty, and a husband who supposedly loved her the way she was. I just wonder what’s in store for people like this, who seem to hate their real selves, and go to such great lengths to dramatically alter their entire appearance.

Not to mention the back pain, ugh!  Those beach balls are sure to cause lots of pain in the coming years, I wouldn’t be surprised if when she gets older and wiser, she gets those babies downsized again…….like Sharon Osbourne recently decided to do with her larger than life breast implants after deciding she was too old to carry around their obtrusive weight.  She’ll even still be a pretty large busted lady after that.

Sharon Osbourne Downsizing Breast Implants

I have to admit, I love Sharon Osbourne. Some people think she’s a control freak and intercedes in every aspect of her husband Ozzy Osbournes life. I tend to disagree. I think that she’s a great business manager and a strong woman, and I love that she doesn’t censor herself or try to come off as something that she isn’t. She’ll tell  you to f off in a heartbeat if she feels you’re wrong, no matter who you are. And I admire those kind of stones in a woman.

I also admire her amazing good looks for being in her late fifties. Sharon is fifty seven to be exact, and she looks really amazing. Sure, she may have had some upkeep work done on her face, but her surgeon actually did a pretty good job, and her face looks firm and lifted.

Another piece of “work” she got done which she apparently is sick of now is her breast implants. Sharon currently sports a DD cup, thanks to breast implants she’s had now for years. She says she’s too old to carry those big things around any more, and wants to get them downsized. She’ll still have breast implants, but she’s going down two cup sizes so she can be comfortable and not feel like she’s sporting a super sized chest for being in her fifties.

She’s always been open about what work she’s had done, in addition to other things she’s been admirably open about. The brash business manager and celebrity is also a celebrity judge on the incredibly popular hit show the X Factor.

She’s also on a show I like to watch, Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice. Her and Cyndi Lauper make this show worth watching.  Sharon has said she adores her and was visibly disappointed when Cyndi was being undermined or blown off.  Watching the show has made me admire Sharon even more. I might actually be intimidated by her if I met her in real life, and not many celebrities would do that to me (ok, I talk big, I’ve only met a few “celebrities” in my life).

Lots of women decided they’ve had enough of their breast implants when they get older. They become cumbersome and start to look a little ridiculous when you get older, so they do opt to either take them out all together, go about some other breast implant alternative, or get a smaller pair of implants to suit their lifestyle more, happens all the time.

Wanna Test Drive Your Implants?

Women who are interested in getting breast implants are now going to be able to “test drive” some of the different sizes they may be interested in, and also the type of breast implants they are thinking about having used for their upcoming potential breast enlargement surgery. I think we talked about this a little while ago, but what we had really talked about was a digital imaging process where patients could see their potential implants and what they would like like with them, not how they would actually feel on their body.

This way, with the test driving of implants, which is only available through certain plastic surgeons, these women can not only see physically what they’d look like with these different sized implants, but they can also feel what it feels like to be walking around with breasts of such a size, and feel what they will actually feel like.  They can gauge whether they might cause any back or muscle pain and things like that too.

This is all due to a little fitted vest that the woman wears with the specific implants she may want fitted into them. She can see what her silhouette looks like and everything too, and can walk around with them for a whole day or days, depending on what the surgeon offers, to see if they could have them and if they would be comfortable.  They can also do things like run and do housework to see how feasible this size would be for their level of activity and fitness.

Not only that, but they can see what various sizes and types of breast implants feel like on them.  So, if you want something smaller, you can maybe wear it a few days and see if you might not want to go bigger once you’ve gotten used to those yabos basically, and vice versa, if you thought you wanted Playboy style boobies and those are just a little too out there for your taste, you can scale back. After all, once you have them in your chest, they’re kind of hard to take out without a major production!

Implants Aplenty on “Jersey Shore”

It’s amazing what types of shows become hits on tv because Americans (we’re not the only ones though), seem to be obsessed with Train Wreck tv. The trashier the reality stars are, the more we eat it up. Hey, it’s fun to watch other people be totally incapable of running a smooth, drama free, intelligent life when we have our own problems, it makes our problems and shortcomings seem trivial and unimportant by comparison.

I’ll admit that, I mean for me, half the time TV is escapism, and that’s ok. However, I don’t watch Jersey Shore – just a disclaimer. The funny thing is, that although I don’t watch the latest reality TV hit of MTV, I do know about some of the characters and have read a little about it since news about the show and it’s quirky, big haired, big muscled, smack talking, and big breasted (breast implants, of course) characters.

One in particular seems to already be somewhat of a tabloid darling. The one that calls herself JWOWW or something like that has made headlines a few times, one for having a new line of signature split down the middle bare-your-chest tops that look ultra classy (yes, I’m being totally facetious), and another one for her going “conservative”. Isn’t that like calling Warren Buffett poor or something?

JWOWW is known for her breast implants spilling out of a big split down the middle of these club shirts which have become her “signature”, and was recently praised for going “conservative on the red carpet.  Any who, I have to admit, I’m curious as hell to tune into this show some time, it definitely looks like it would be interesting to watch, a study in human behavior I suppose, even though it’s getting heat from the Italian community because they feel like it’s perpetuating negative Italian stereotypes. It’s gotta be entertaining, if nothing else.  And yes, maybe it’ll make me feel a lot better about myself and my own life!
