Should Transexuals Be Covered For Breast Enlargement?
There has been a lot of controversy surrounding the question on whether transexuals should be allowed to be covered under insurance for having surgeries to change their gender identity or to enlarge their breasts if they are a biological male that wants to become a woman.
There are people on both sides of this issue, and it’s interesting because we just had this same discussion at my job a little while ago about whether companies should allow transexuals, who really do want to be the opposite sex and truly believe that they were meant to be the opposite sex, they were just born with the wrong body parts, to be covered for these types of altering surgeries.
Especially since it barely affects their bottom line because of it’s rarity . The argument is really that you shouldn’t treat a psychological disorder any differently than a physical one, and that since these men and women really are truly psychologically inflicted because they can’t express themselves as the sexual being that they are, it causes psychological distress and almost a sort of identity crisis, resulting in loss of life enjoyment that everyone deserves.
There have actually been a small hand full of court cases where transexuals have sued insurance companies who deny coverage for such surgeries or hormone therapy. One man recently sued because he could not get male to female breast enlargement surgery. I don’t know the outcome of that litigation, but it sure may set a precedent, whether favorable or unfavorable, for those that pursue this sort of legal action in the future.

Chaz Bono, Formerly Chastity, Requests Gender Change
Why am I writing about this? While it doesn’t have anything to do with breasts themselves per se, it got me thinking about the struggles that men who want to feminize themselves and become women, legally and biologically, go through. Many transgendered men who want to grow female breasts and feminize themselves through surgery face financial bills that would make anyone cringe, because this is not something that is usually covered by insurance. Should it be or not?
This seems like a big identity crisis, and that can definitely impeded one’s quest for a fulfilled, healthy and happy life, but does it qualify as an actual medical necessity? Some people think yes, some think no. But men have some viable options at least for male breast enhancement these days that isn’t too cost prohibitive.
It’s a lot better than trying to get breast implants, which are typically hard to do on men because they just genetically do not have a lot of breast tissue to work with and are structured differently in the whole chest area, which can make breast augmentation a little trickier on biological males.
Chastity Bono, now Chaz, has the luxury of probably having the money to get her sex change operation and petition the court to be changed in gender and name to a man’s identity, which is what she has felt like her whole life, and that is her right, but what about those that aren’t as lucky in the financial department?

What Causes Man Boobs?
We talked last time about how man boob operations have skyrocketed in the last year, especially in the UK. This is an operation that would be like breast implants for women, except instead of putting an implant in, they are making incisions and sucking the fat out, sort of like liposuction for the male breast. After all, most men do not want to see breasts on themselves, unless of course they desire to have female breasts, which is more common than you think.
The most obvious reason for when men develop man boobs is that they have excess fat on their body, and it just so happens to store it in the breast area. This can vary from man to man of course. Some men may be more apt to store excess fat in their abdomen, which is actually far more deadly since stomach fat is dangerous. It’s the whole body shape thing. Some men may store it in their rear ends, although that’s rare, but some men deposit their extra fat into their breasts.
There is an actual disorder called gynecomastia, where men typically deposit most if not a large portion of their excess fat in the breast tissue area. These are the men who really generally are the ones who have to get an operation to remove the fat instead of just going on a diet and losing a lot of excess weight.
Your age is definitely a factor too. The older men get, the more likely their bodies are to rearrange how they store fat, and their upper chest just happens to take on that lovely new role. Often times, you will see even thin men have excess breast tissue, it’s sort of an unfortunate hallmark of getting older for men that comes with the territory.
Some medications can also affect whether men grow man boobs as they can change the chemistry of the body, making their female hormones more dominant. The same goes for certain types of drugs. Actually, steroids have typically been pegged in the growth of man boobs, and men are hyper aware of this, especially since most men on steroids are looking to look better, not worse, and grow man boobs.
If you can’t get rid of them by dieting or exercise, then often times they can be removed via surgery, or at least dramatically reduced this way.

UK Sees Spike in Man Boob Operations to Reduce Breast Tissue
The UK has seen a huge increase in operations requested by men who want to get rid of their “man boobs” or as they have been affectionately dubbed “moobs” and so many other euphamisms.
This is a sore spot for a lot of men, who tend to accumulate extra stored fat in this unfortunate area. Oh, if only women could gain weight exclusively in this area, and men could gain it somewhere else where extra flesh is desirable on their bodies when they gained weight, wouldn’t the world be a wonderful, happy place then?
But seriously, men have found the idea of male breast growth pretty scary over the years, except of course, men who are transgendered who desire to grow breasts, but they are agreeably in the minority.
Most men find growing breast tissue incredibly embarrassing because it doesn’t fit the male ideal of physical beauty, and it’s something that is made fun of quite often in popular media. Ever seen a male celebrity snapped on the beach who happens to be middle aged and may have let himself go a bit, or happens to have a predisposition toward male breasts? They get skewered.
Men who have grown tissue in this area are often embarrassed to wear swim trunks or go anywhere that they have to go topless, like the beach or somewhere else in the summer time that requires any degree of shirtlessness.
Some men are so self conscious about this that they refuse to disrobe in front of their lovers in the light, or they let it affect their intimacy with their partner. This is why this “man boob” operation has grown in popularity so much, it’s a major perception that they are undesirable, and that has caused a boom as of late for some unknown reason (after all, “enhanced male breasts” aren’t something that’s new, they’ve been around a looooong time!)

Swedish Officials Remove Transvestism from List of “Disorders”
In a move welcomed by the transvestite community in Sweden, the government is removing transvestism, the act of being a transvestite, which is a man who has converted into a woman via hormone therapies, male transgender breast enlargement, and surgeries possibly, from it’s list of disorders so as not to create more prejudice for this often misunderstood segment of the population.Â
They also removed fetishism and sadomasichism from their list of sexual disorders in an effort to make things more equal amongst those with sexual preferences that are considered out of the “norm” according to society at large.
Men who have transformed themselves into more or less biological women often feel that they are misunderstood by society. They feel that they do not have a true understanding amongst the society they live in to be able to comfortably live openly, and often feel that they are discriminated against. With a society that is now a bit more understanding, and a move toward acceptance and political correctness, as well as pushes for diversity, they can now feel a little more included.
The committee who decided on removing transvestism from the list of sexual disorders has also decided to take this to the WHO, or World Health Organization in an effort to get it removed more broadly. The representatives for the transvestite community find that this is a welcome move and want to feel like they are more included and understood by the society at large.
Men who want to enlarge their breasts to look and feel like a woman’s breasts without getting surgery should look into these products for transgender breast growth for natural ways to increase breast size, volume, and overall bra size.Â

Man Turning Into Woman, Growing Breasts
A man who is a singer in a local bar has said that over the past decade he has slowly been turning into a woman, and he does not want to lose his masculinity but apparently he is afflicted with some sort of a hormonal imbalance that has caused him to slowly begin to exhibit womanly physical characteristics.
While some men desire to become women and purchased various products for male breast enhancement, this is a case where a man has actually been turning into a woman against his will, due to a biological reason that is as of yet unknown. He has asked regular doctors for help after his past decade of beginning to lose facial hair, develop softer skin like a woman, and also to grow breasts like a woman, but doctors are saying that they have not seen a case where a man has spontaneously begun to produce estrogen on his own.Â
Every man has a little bit of the female hormone estrogen in his system naturally, as every woman has a little bit of the male hormone testosterone in her system naturally, but this man claims that he has spontaneously started producing high levels of estrogen for an unknown reason and has doctors baffled. I’m wondering if doses of testosterone might be the answer, but apparently that may not solve his problem.
When there are hormonal imbalances in a woman or a man, as in, when a woman has too much testosterone or a man has too much estrogen, there are noted changes to the body that exemplify the opposite sex. So for women, they may begin to grow facial hair, may start to have problems with bad acne, or they may develop a thicker, tougher skin like men have, whereas a man may begin to grow female breasts, his voice may become higher, and his skin may become softer if he has too much estrogen producing in his body.Â
Scientists do not know why this man might have simply just had such a huge increase in his estrogen production on his own, but he says that his doctors originally suspected he was trying to change his sex which he adamantly denies, and he says that he just wants his manhood back, and does not want a sex change, nor does he want to slowly become a woman as he is now.Â

Answer : Right, nine months at a time, to give yourself a break is what I’ve read elsewhere. Not sure if this means that you can take it though again after giving your body a rest from the herbs for a certain amount of time – this may be something to ask Bust Fuel about. I’m pretty sure that Transfemme product also says the same thing about the nine month rule too, so maybe it’s just a rule of thumb to give your body a break and let it normalize again. I know, Transfemme is on the high side, which is why it’s good there are also less expensive herbal alternatives to use as well that work. Good luck!Â

How to Grow Male Breasts Question

With herbal supplements, sometimes there needs to be a sort of maintenance of periodic use of the product, usually at lower doses, if any growth deteriorates over time after the product is discontinued. However, this varies per product specification as well as per the individual’s body chemistry, diet, and a variety of other factors that make us all biologically different from one another, and it’s best to contact the specific maker directly to ask what to do if your results diminish.Â

I know for me personally, during times of hormonal changes in my body, my nipple area does get sore, but also sometimes the whole general breast area picks up the soreness too, so it could depend on any hormonal activity as well going on at the specific time.  Well, thanks again for keeping me up to date. I’ll work on getting your email address added today – I’m determined to get “back in the swing of things” this weekend
