My husband and I have been totally obsessed with the show Friday Night Lights lately. I know we’re a little late to the game considering the show started its run over five years and ago and recently ended with its fifth and final season, but that’s how we roll. We always start shows late so we can just watch as many in one night as we want – it’s pretty fun actually!

Friday Night Lights is a show about highschool football in a small Texas town called Dillon, where football is everything.  The townspeople have enjoyed a great highschool football team for years, and the tradition is that they continue to be great and expect great things from the coaches and the players due to the embedded tradition and mentality that it means so much.

It has a great cast and some really superb acting, and another thing it has is a lot of push up bras, bouncing boobs and generally women with big assets. I think it’s trying to be true to the good old Texas tradition of boobs and cleavage everywhere and those hearty Texan women showing off what they got. It’s great, and I’m sure my husband loves to watch it too.

Connie Britton, who I only ever saw up to this point in the spooky and depressing “American Horror Story” couldn’t play a more different role, She is happily married to the coach Eric Taylor. She is one of the ones that wears a lot of low cut and somewhat revealing shirts, and I’m not sure if she’s wearing padded bras, but she looks terrific!

Now, I’m not sure that the school guidance counselor and then principal should really be wearing some of the stuff she does to school – in reality her skin hugging outfits may raise some eyebrows in any other small town, but all the more power to her – I love this actress and I think she is the epitome of natural beauty and natural breasts.

Aimee Teegarden is a teen in the show, and she’s definitely well developed already. They don’t really draw too much attention to this, but it’s pretty obvious that the actress is well endowed and started to be that way at a fairly young age.  She even made a cameo appearance in the last Scream movie at the beginning as one of the killer’s well endowed victims, no doubt the movie makers played up her chest!

Then there is Minka Kelly, who plays good girl Lila Garrity. She’s all natural too, and while she may not be as well endowed as some of the other actresses, the producers do a great job of making the most of what she’s got on her thin athletic frame – she’s shines and is gorgeous as well.

Another castmate, whom I do suspect has had some surgical enhancement, is Adrian Palicki. She’s not only a giant, she’s gotta be over six foot tall, but she is amply endowed for how thin she is everywhere else. Her breasts also don’t move much and have a suspiciously round appearance, which is usually a dead giveaway of breast implants. Nonetheless, this talented actress lights up the screen with her bad girl persona.

Great show!

There’s no denying that Katy Perry is a beautiful woman.  She’s a beautiful woman who also happens to be a very talented performer. Sure, she may not have the most vocal range, but she’s a hell of an entertainer. Her videos are engrossing and funny and engaging. Her personality is sparkling, and it’s no wonder she’s become the mega success story that she has in a relatively short time period amongst other more pretentious “artists” like Lady Gaga.

Of course, men also love Katy Perry. They love her not only for her fresh faced, unique look but also of course because she has a fantastic set of boobs. And guess what, her breasts appear to be all natural!  That’s right – they look to be the real deal, just as she has claimed for years when asked since they are obviously so mesmerizing to men and women alike.

Sometimes it amazes me how celebrities have all the money and admiration in the world and somehow they still have their down times too.  Even after all the adoration of fans, the money and all the material things that go with such meteoric success, Katy has definitely had a rough couple weeks as of late.

First, she and her soon to be ex husband Russell Brand, the outrageous Brit comedian who seemed like an explosion of a marriage waiting to happen in the first place, announce they were divorcing.  This was not surprising as there were constantly rumors that they were on the rocks, and usually where there’s smoke there is fire (although admittedly there are a lot of complete falsehoods spread in the media when it comes to celebs too).

Then, as if that wasn’t enough, her father, and evangelical preacher, came to a town that’s only about a half hour away from me in Westlake Ohio and gave a sermon that made national news. In his sermon to a church full of people, he made some pretty disparaging remarks about Jewish people. Ms. Perry of course instantly put a distance between her father’s comments and her, making it known she does not share his views.

After a couple weeks like that, it’s no wonder she pulled out of some of the awards shows she was expected at. Sometimes even the most famous people need to take a break and regroup, and be out of the public eye. She’ll still always have a great rack!

Lindsey Lohan’s much ballyhooed Playboy spread ended up being a letdown to some of her fans. Why? Because the hot mess of a star was airbrushed to death like all the other beautiful, busty women who are featured in the men’s magazine, much to the disappointment of their fan base which has been dwindling for years.

Of course, their membership has been dwindling because the plethora of naked women shown on the internet for free, but also there is speculation that a lot of avid male and female readers are tired of looking at one airbrushed body after another. They need to keep it real and start showing these beautiful women in all their glory – flaws and all.

I mean, isn’t THAT what is really sexy about the human form? Not women who all are made to look like some semblance of a cartoon because of so much makeup caked on?  To me, they all look like they are the same person, only vaguely morphed into some new costume or a somewhat different twist on their makeup.

Lindsey Lohan’s spread features her in traditional fifties bombshell “suicide blonde” hair, with brigh tred lips and deeply colored eyes.  I guess you can see some of her freckles, which is refreshing, but sheesh, can’t they at least show us a little more realistic appeal?

I know this is riduculous coming from a woman, but I feel that I sort of understand the male psyche about what is truly sexy, and I think Playboy has missed the mark on truly sexy for a while now.  Hefner must be giving in to the modern guys on his staff, because you know he’s gotta be old school!

E! News correspondent Guiliana Rancic, formerly Depandi, has made news several times lately for her battle against breast cancer. She’s young, so it’s always a shock when women younger than fifty five have breast cancer, but it’s actually more common than people think, we just don’t catch it until later stages because of higher rates of checkups and mammograms.

The whole reason Mrs. Rancic even had a mammogram and hence the breast cancer was detected is that she was seeing a fertility doctor in an effort to get pregnant when it was discovered. Her fertility doctor needed to make sure 100% that she didn’t have any hormonally fueled cancer before he started treating her with more hormones.

So needless to say, she was shocked most likely.  We all would be if we were diagnosed with this cancer before the age of 40.  Her decision was to go with a double mastectomy to make sure the cancer was totally gone.

It is not clear whether both of her breasts tested positive for cancer or not, but I suppose that doesn’t really matter since it’s a totally individual decision to get something this intensely personal done to make sure the breast cancer is eradicated.

She opted to get both breasts removed and to have instant reconstructive surgery afterward.  Her husband Bill Rancic, who was the winner of one of Donald Trump’s “Apprentice” shows and ran a cigar shop business, seems to have a sense of humor about it all.

She talked recently about how they went to decide what type of new breasts she was getting, and she was joking that her hubby opted for bigger. Gee, what a shock!

In all seriousness, what do you think about double mastectomies? It’s a scary thing for women to undergo and takes a lot of courage to say yes to it. The surgeons we have nowadays and the options for reconstruction of the breast after removal are pretty awesome, so that’s one thing we have really working in our favor as survivors of breast cancer.

We’re pulling for your Giuliana! You’re a brave woman, and I’m sure they will come out looking fannnntastic!

How many times do we have to see before and after pictures of actresses and women in the public spotlight accompanied by the question “did she or didn’t she?” before we say we’ve had enough? Why can’t a woman just go and get herself some plastic surgery without being the subject of ridicule and speculation?

Sure, these women have often chosen to be in the public eye, but does anyone really deserve to be pondered over that much and criticized, made fun of or judged for her choices about her own body?  Not that long ago LeAnn Rimes was the subject of tabloid speculation for an eating disorder due to her thinner than normal frame.

She was dogged by questions about it, and also about her divorce and subsequent hook up with a married costar. Maybe she was going through some stress.  Now with new pictures surfacing of the singing star in a tight dress sporting seemingly new, never before seen curves, there is speculation that the formerly flatter chested star has gotten breast augmentation surgery.

And so what if she has gotten herself some breast implants?  Is it not the right of every person to tend to their bodies as they see fit?  If she wasn’t happy with her body the way it was, what is so bad about getting a little help from the plastic surgeon?  It’s just that when it goes to extremes that it becomes problematic.

And even then, it’s still none of anyone’s business except maybe that person and her family.  Actresses are always under so much more intense media scrutiny than actors are. Sure, a guy might be targeted if it looks like he’s had facial surgery, but the media really tends to focus on women and what they’ve had done.

It’s no wonder these women feel so much intense pressure to be pefect when they notice how much the media is noticing their appearance, and how much the public is obviously eating up the stories about their appearance.

I know I’m grasping at straws with today’s post, but honestly there is really no good news about breasts right now to talk about, so I was forced to go into a little diotribe about something that I’ve thought about a lot. Especially when I’m watching a period piece that has nudity (ie female breast shots) in it.

My husband and I are watching an HBO show period piece called Game of Thrones right now on Demand.  It is a period piece, in the medieval times where of course there was no such thing as breast implants like there are today (and so rampantly, especially in Hollywood).

I was wondering as I was watching it, since they have quite a few extras and main characters showing their breasts, how they cast so many women in Hollywood who don’t have breast implants, since it is such a common thing these days in Hollywood.

I must say, it is quite refreshing to see women without giant breast implants for a change. Many times in modern movies, you can’t tell whether they are real or fake.  It’s amazing too, how many women are so naturally blessed with great boobs naturally, it’s a wonder that there are so many of them even, who end up getting implants, just to go bigger!

To me, seeing natural breasts on screen reinforces how beautiful real breasts can be, with no silicone or saline pushing them up. They bounce and move naturally, which is quite a welcome change from breast implants, which tend to stay more in one spot due to their more immobile nature.

Natural breasts also tend to look much better in clothes, pushed up, since the cleavage that comes from them is much more fluid and moving, and doesn’t look too rounded and “manufactured”.

There are some great breast implant alternatives out there today that can help you build up your own natural breast tissue if you’ve always wanted larger breasts, but you don’t want to resort to surgery and placing plastic devices in the body to achieve it.

As for Hollywood, maybe “all natural” actresses will increasingly be seeked out and rewarded for not giving in to the societal pressure of getting larger breasts. Larger is not always better, after all!

We watched the “comedy” movie with Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler, normally a fairly adequate duo of worthy actors, last night.  First of all, I want to say that Brookyn Decker has one of the greatest female bodies I’ve seen in a while. She’s gorgeous.

And oh my gosh, the woman’s breasts will even make a woman gawk at them, they are so perfect!  I mean, what kind of God allows such a ridiculously portioned body to happen naturally!?  And she is supposedly implant free, so I guess the surgical Gods are not the ones she’s blessed with – it’s the old fashioned hard way – genetics!

There are of course arguments on the internet about whether Brooklyn Decker’s breasts are real or not, but there are also rumors that Jennifer Aniston has had breast implants as well. It seems like you can’t get away with having a huge rack and a skinny body, or even a decent rack and skinny body these days without being called out for having implants, even if you’ve never had the surgery.

I guess it’s flattering. But this movie is anything but flattering for either woman.  Brooklyn is a fledgeling actress, mostly a model who probably landed this role because she plays basically a Bo Derek part (in TEN) by being really sweet and innocent and mostly being eye candy in a teeny weeny bathing suit for guys to gawk at.

I must admit, seeing her come out of he water in the tiny yellow bikini is quite breath taking, even if you’re a totally staright woman!  It’s almost embarrassing to look at because you feel fixated when you see something of such extreme beauty and sexiness.

It’s too bad the movie was terrible.The humor was forced and obvious, aside from some good jokes here and there. It was very sophomoric in my opinion, and some of the jokes really were ridiculous, almost an insult to one’s intelligence who is watching.

The child actors in the film are abismal and pretty much make the movie even worse and an even bigger bear to watch. Brooklyn holds her own for the most part, but you can tell she’s new at it in some scenes where she over acts or moves her head way too much.

Nicole Kidman and Dave Matthews (yeah, the Dave Matthews of the Dave Matthews band!) are actually quite funny in this movie. Nicole bears her body a bit too, as does Jennifer Aniston, who always had a rocking fit body.

If you are going to see this movie, be ready for some really terrible scenes and some of the worst humor ever….I didn’t like it at all. But it really wasn’t my brand of humor at all.

I’m pleased to see a trend in Hollywood that is getting away from starlets with breast implants, and focusing more on natural beauties who clearly have not been surgically altered.  One example I can think of is Amy Adams in The Fighter, a movie we just saw recently.

She does a great job in this movie, and her beautiful physique looks way better because she obviously doesn’t have breast implants, but has a nice, womanly figure and can push those puppies up pretty darn well in shirts I must say!

Blake Lively is another who has not been surgically altered who is getting lots of attention these days, although lately of course it hasn’t been about her acting. She’s in the Green Lantern, with brown hair, and stars in the popular teen soap opera Gossip Girl.

Olivia Wilde, an up and coming actress who got into show biz by being the sexy doctor on House, but is now getting tons of movie roles, is another natural beauty. Not only does she have a smoldering face and great bone structure, but her body is rockin’ without any implants, and she seems to be very body confident. The men LOVE her too…

Now, one of Olivia’s look alikes, Megan Fox, I’m not sure about. She doesn’t have huge breasts, surely. However, they look a bit rounded when they are pushed up, which is usually a dead giveaway of a boob job.  If she has implants, she went with a very modest size which is smart because they are very hard to detect.

Kristen Stewart is the envy of millions of young girls, teens, and full grown women (who might not admit it) for sharing steamy screen time with one of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors, and having a rumored offscreen romance with Robert Pattinson as well.

Kristen Stewart is all natural. She’s a tiny girl, to be sure, however it’s refreshing to see such a talented young actress who hasn’t succumbed to the pressures to be big bosomed in Hollywood. She’s barely 20 or 21 years old, but lots of these young actresses are doing it in their teens!

Ashley Green, one of her costars, is also all natural, and looks terrific with her athletic figure and gorgeous hair and bone structure. There is definitely a refreshing trend in Hollywood toward natural breasts.

I think women are realizing that it seems to be the natural women who are taken more seriously in roles, because they look more like real, natural women.  There are some great natural breast implant alternatives out there today as well that can help you achieve a big of a larger cup size without implants.

We totally forgot to do our fun little tongue in cheek “best of” list for 2010, so we figured we would get that done now. We know everyone was waiting with baited breath (not) for the Top Breasts of 2010, so without further ado, let’s talk about some of the celebrities and pseudo celebrities with the best breasts.

Number one on the list has to be Brooklyn Decker. This curvy model has brought new meaning to “are they really natural?” Because you cannot tell if they are natural for sure, but if they are breast implants, they certainly are some of the best breast implants I’ve ever seen.

She either had a really great doctor, or already had some fabulous breast tissue to work with. Or they are a gift from mother nature, and she really is that gifted and happens to have a banging body as well. She is very athletically framed, so it’s pretty believable.

In the forgettable movie “Just Go With It” she plays the object of Adam Sandler’s affections, almost like Bo Derek in the movie “Ten”, and her scenes in the yellow barely there bikini are memorable to most men!

The second best breasts of 2010 are another model’s – one who has also graced a Sports Illustrated cover page. It’s Leo DiCaprio’s ex girlfriend Bar Rafaeli. This Israeli born beauty is another one that has huge boobs that look like they could potentially be real, but almost look too good to be true for how small she is everywhere else.

However, she’s not SO skinny that you wouldn’t believe the girl could have those huge breasts, so we’ll give her the benefit of the doubt in this case.

She has been in numerous Sports Illustrated ads and also has done some other modeling work, but is probably best known for dating Leonardo DiCaprio, the other staple bachelor in Hollywood besides George Clooney who seems to enjoy playing the field more than settling down and getting married to a lady love.

Halle Berry is a really big celebrity who has always had a great rack. She’s always had it though, and they really are probably the real thing, because if you look even at older pictures of her, those bad boys have not changed over the years – they have stayed exactly the same.

Halle is well known for having great curves, but she is even more well known for her beautiful face and short haircut which show off her flawless skin and georgeous bone structure. She’s also a really talented actress, if you take away X-Men and Cat Woman.

I love Reese Witherspoon, and I’m sure she’s also won over a lot of other female fans as well with her blasting of these starlets who let photos of themselves leak out on to the internet of them in compromising positions. Sex tapes and nude pictures unfortunately are a way to make a quick name for yourself, although they certainly don’t make a good name for you.

But it has worked for some women to bring them to a new level of reality show stardom, like Kim Kardashian in her famous sex tape with an ex boyfriend, or Paris Hilton, who is a multi millionaire partly due to a “leaked” sex tape of her and ex boyfriend Rick Solomon having sex in a hotel room somewhere.

Even Disney “good girl” Vanessa Hudgens has nude photos of herself, apparently taken by a cell phone camera, that leaked out on to the internet, tarnishing her squeaky clean Disney persona.  Miley Cyrus doesn’t have any nude photos yet, but she certainly has let herself into some compromising, overly sexual positions for such a young girl.

This world is definitely over sexualized, and it’s a shame that so many impressionable young girls really let themselves be a victim of it.  That latest rising star to have a nude pic scandal is Blake Lively, the star of the hit TV show Gossip Girl.

There are nude pictures of her, supposedly taken by herself by her own cell phone, that  hacker supposedly leaked. Her people, and her, claim that they are 100% fake and photoshopped, but I saw them, and they show pretty much everything, her breasts, her butt and everything else, and they really look like her.

There are no telltale signs of doctoring of photo shopping, and I hate to say it, but I think that they are her. WHY on God’s green earth, if you are a celebrity, would you EVER take nude pics of yourself?  They almost always end up in the public eye!

And why would you EVER be in a sex tape if you are in the public eye too?  That has never ended well for anyone, and usually the women who are in these tapes and pictures are denegrated, and the guys that are in them are lauded as a stud.

It can hurt the woman’s reputation, which is totally unfair. But if I were Blake,  and those were me, I’d just own up to it and not let it bother me. It almost looks worse when you deny it if it really looks like you. It could be a fake, but who knows…
