Breast Asymmetry a Breast Cancer Risk?
Last post I talked about bust exercises and breast asymmetry, where women have unevenly shaped or sized breasts, and choose to either help them naturally by exercises or by surgery.
Well, upon further research on breast asymmetry, I found that this socially uncomfortable condition may actually be considered a risk factor for breast cancer.
Well, apparently the mere fact that a woman has a breast asymmetry raises her risk of breast cancer, at least according to some new studies. In the study, which specifically targeted taking a closer look at the possible link between volume, size and shape asymmetries in women’s breasts and the likelikhood of breast cancer, it was found that women with cancer had statistically higher incident of breast asymmetries when put through a mammogram.
By looking at the statistics they gathered in their study of these women, it was found that symmetrical breast development (which means normally shaped breast development) can very possibly be an indicator of a woman’s ability to tolerate uneven hormonal fluctuations while they maintain stable (even) breast development.
This study can be considered pretty important in the fight against breast cancer, since findings can point us to ways to better detect and prevent breast cancer earlier on in high risk women.
