She griped when relatives told her she should put it in a trust for her three children, and went out and got breast implants right away, threw outrageous parties, and in short did not act like a grieving widow should, so she was found guilty on circumstantial evidence mostly of murdering her husband for financial benefit.

Disgusting, I know. The second story is one that’s been rehashed a few times, but keeps seeming to find its way back into the news one way or another. A new Dutch study has apparently found that women who get breast implants for cosmetic purposes only are three times more likely than breast implant free women to commit suicide!

This has been insinuated before, and we’ve talked about it before, but I’m not sure that it’s ever been quantified to this extent before by a study. Those numbers are quite alarming though.
