Crazy Breast and Bra Stories

Well, it seems that breasts are in the news, one way or another, almost every week. So, I figured I’d share with you the latest crazy stories about boobs for the past few weeks that I heard. I’m sure you’ll feel the same way when you hear them!  The first one is out of Florida. A female attorney in Florida apparently wanted to visit her client in jail to provide the client with counsel.  As you may know, jails put everyone who visits prisoners through a metal detector as a precaution that you are not carrying any concealed weapons on the premise.

Well, as you also may know if you’ve ever worn an underwire bra, they are usually made with metal, although you are increasingly seeing these underwire garments being made with plastic nowadays.  When the woman went through the metal detector, the alarm went off, so she went and changed out of her bra. Now, this is where the story gets downright ludicrous, and why it was reported as a shameful story for this particular jail.

She tries to get through security again, sans bra.  Now the security guards won’t let her through because she is violating one of their policies of not wearing a bra. You see, jails apparently often have dress codes that women not dress provocatively so as not to rouse the mostly male inmates.  The code apparently had a loophole that didn’t prohibit underwire bras, but it didn’t matter, because the guards wouldn’t let her through without one either. Sheesh, and men wonder why we hate bras.  Just another reason to hate them – and the men that made the stupid jail rules too.

The second story is about a women with ginormous breast implants who got on a plane and had them damaged, and is now suing the airline for breast implant damage. What?  Come again? Ok, here’s what happened with this kooky story.  The woman, who is a model from Russia and happens to have the largest implants there as well, sued an airline over damage to her implants that she claims was caused by turbulence in the aircraft. Man, that must have been some kind of turbulence to actually damage an implant.

She is asking for almost $100k from the airline to cover damages to her huge breasts, which she claims she hit and felt pain immediately after the turbulence, causing them damage and pain.

Warning Signs of Breast Cancer

Besides the efforts made to achieve the early detection and effective treatment of the breast cancer, about 20 % of patients with breast cancer die from the disease. The breast cancer is the second most often cause of death at women.

We are all witnessing a very large number of sick women, but what is more worrisome is the younger population. Awareness among women about breast cancer fails to widespread sufficiently. But it is our fault because we always wait for “the last train” to go to control- a stage from which you may not come back. These shifts of the age are alarming signs that leads to bigger interest for this subject.

Statistics show that from 8 or 9 women one will surely develop this condition. Any breast disease at women is a double-health problem and besides that can lead to mental and spiritual liability. But not only that……Great efforts are made to achieve early detection however, the number of patients increases.  In particular, this excessive desire to prevent this situation increases the self- awareness and culture to all women, to act preventively.

These are sufficient reasons to induce interest and detailed understanding of the topic in every woman.   There are amazing and countless of different treatments, methods to treat breast cancer across the world. For example, the Chinese medicine, which is closely documented and based on thousands of years of research and clinical experience. Countless lives in different parts of the world have been rescued and cured by these treatments against cancer.

The only thing for women today is the consideration of the problem with conventional methods based on the harmful treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation or surgery.

Symptoms

To detect any change in the breast is primarily necessary to know what is normal for your breasts in terms of appearance and consistency. In this case, we have the existence of abnormality and change in appearance, structure, consistency etc.

In the early stages breast cancer usually has no symptoms or very minor characters. However, the grow of the tumor can be noticed very easy. Women must take care of their breasts and check them when bathing, dressing. Other symptoms are also, the nipple pain, bloody nipple discharge.  It is in a human nature that people will never check its health condition until something bad happens.

NaturaBra Breast Lift Gaining Momentum?

I reported on this newer procedure several months back already, but I’m following up because I’ve seen some follow up articles on the unique procedure and wanted to update you on it.  The NaturaBra procedure is really not a breast lift in the traditional sense.

You are not getting a foreign object ie breast implant, inserted into your breast just under it to make it appear more pert and perky like when you are younger, instead this NaturaBra procedure uses your own body’s tissues to sew into the bottom of your chest a sort of underwire bra, only an all natural one made of your own tissue, so that your breasts get a nice, natural subtle lift without grueling surgery.

Don’t expect any size increases in your breasts though, because this is really just a lifting procedure, purely. It may be a good option for women who really just want to lift their breasts more, but do not want to actually add cup size to their breasts. It basically acts as a natural bra, and many women who have had it report that they really don’t need the support that a bra offers after they’ve had this procedure done.

It may also be ideal for women who have experienced a lot of sagging as they have aged, and who are happy with their breast size, but want to just get the lift they had when they were a little younger. However, be cautioned that this isn’t a magical formula against breast sagging and aging, since the tissue inserted is your own, and the tissue will age naturally with the rest of your body, so it will begin to show the signs of aging as well.

The Difference Between Silicone and Saline Implants

Those women who desire to have larger breasts via breast augmentation or breast implant surgery, have a couple of options these days when it comes to what materials they will be having implanted into their chest to make their breasts appear larger.

The FDA approved silicone breast implants to be re-introduced into general cosmetic surgery usage back in 2006, after much debate and uproar from women and groups who claimed to have had health problems that were associated with their silicone breast implants leaking into their bodies and causing autoimmune types of responses.

Now, the FDA has said that the newer, more robust and safe silicone implant which is supposedly more reinforced against breakage and leakage, is ok for general use.  It has been re-introduced to women as an option when they are considering getting breast implants, whether for the first time or for the second time as a replacement, since breast implants need to be redone every ten years roughly.

Many women, dissatisfied with what they describe as an unnatural feel with saline implants, may switch theirs out for silicone when they get them replaced.  Apparently the difference is that saline implants actually may show rippling more than the gel silicone implants.  Many, if not most, times, you can see some sort of rippling on the sides or underneath the breasts with saline implants.

Also, silicone are supposed to feel more natural, although the actual appearance of the implants is the same as with saline.  Some surgeons may recommend that women with very little existing breast tissue get silicone implants, since the more existing breast tissue there is, the more natural the end result will look and feel.  Silicone may run a bit more expensive as well.  They generally may range a few thousand dollars more than saline, say 6k to 8k instead of about 4k to 5k, depending on where you go to get your implants done.

Big Boobed Heidi Montag and Hubby Really Done?

Heidi Montag has certainly made a lot of headlines in her short twenty something life, but most of them haven’t really been of the admirable or respectable variety, very notably for her larger than her head breast implants.  I’ve seen this young lady speak before, and she doesn’t seem mean or bitchy like the media portrays her to be, most people who know here attribute this media given image to her husband (or maybe her ex husband now) Spencer Pratt, the other half of the ill perceived couple.

Heidi has made headlines mostly for being, well, frankly kind of an asshole from the Hills show. She has insisted that this is mostly because of the way the show is edited, but who knows what the real truth is. She also made infamous headlines and a couple of magazine covers (to which I’m sure her and her media hungry husband delighted) on the gossip rags, because of her obsession with plastic surgery.  She notoriously got a ridiculous amount of plastic surgery in one day, or a very short period of time, and emerged looking like largely a different person.

Apparently, now that Ms. Montag has changed a lot of her appearance, maybe for the better, some for the worse (the gigantic boobs really must go), it seems that she may be making another shakeup in her life and venturing out on a limb on her own sans Spencer Pratt. The rumor at least is that their marriage may be over.  Seems like these two were inseparable, but after all, it’s Hollywood baby, and marriages are sometimes like changing socks, and these two are really very young to be married and make it work forever, especially in the land of fake and phony.

Ms. Montag also notably (yes, sad to say that this actually made the news on several large news websites, what is this world coming to, but then again, look at me, I’m reporting on it in a breast news blog!), was upset and wanted to get larger breast implants after Ryan Seacrest had her on his show and proclaimed in good nature “oh they’re not that big”.  Wow, I really hope this girl can buy some cure for insecurity too, because if not, she’s in for a looooong bumpy ride in life.

The Sarah Palin Boob Job Rumor

Well, I guess that all it takes for any celebrity to be “accused” of getting a breast augmentation procedure done these days is to wear a breast-fitting shirt with all the right camera angles. It seems that almost every actress has either been suspected of being pregnant of of having her breasts surgically enhanced when she happens to either be on her period or gain a little cleavage because her hormones have changed.

In Sarah Palin’s case, it looks like she’s just never wearing clothes that really show how large busted she is. For having a pretty small waist and small stature, the former vice presidential candidate sure does have a big chest! But you must consider that she has also had several children now, which can certainly increase breast size, although it can definitely leave them deflated afterwards, needing a breast lift.

She also has never been flat chested. You can sort of tell in her typical suit pants outfits and her skirts and blazers that are her signature wardrobe that she’s always been fairly ample chested, but she wore a scoop necked white tshirt and cargo pants to a recent horse race and was photographed with the speculation that she’d had a breast augmentation procedure because of her more curvy appearance.

A spokesperson in the Palin camp has said that she absolutely has not had breast implants and that the insinuation is pretty ridiculous.  Palin looks dynamite for her 46 years, that’s for sure, and after giving birth to what, 4 or 5 kids now, she and her husband both look as young as spring chickens!

We could all probably take a lesson from the way they live their lives. They seem to be fit, active, and happy with eachother, and I think that’s all that we can hope to be, no matter what you feel about her political positions or her run for vice president.

In other celebrity boob job news, you probably already heard this like 50 times already, but there are rumors swirling that the previously flat chested Kate Hudson, adorable as she was without the breasts, had breast implants as well after she was photographed with suspiciously larger breasts, unless, ehem, maybe she’s pregnant. This one looks like it may be true though….

Take control of your breast comfort, pick the right bra

A great bra is crucial for the strength of your breasts but also you want it to look good on your body and be attractive and even sexy, I dare say. Breasts are one of the most adored parts of the female anatomy, and they should be treated as such.  Always either too big or too small, even when man with whom they share the most intimate moments enjoy them, women are not satisfied. Plastic surgery is one solution, but the thought of the knife scares many women to place themselves in the doctor’s hands, who claim that everything is going to be perfectly okay after the intervention.

One thing reposible, as you all know, for the good looking of the breasts is the bra.  About 80 % of women wear the wrong bra size. The most common error is the too short line under every bra. If the back of the bra stands too high and the baskets are falling forward you are wearing a bra with a too wide line. All breasts have different shape and size, so when you choose a bra you should consider those things.

Distinguish the baskets!  The baskets “balcony” is related to the bra that fully cover the chest, while the borders “plunge” are intended to develop and raise the chest. The latter are designed for wearing shirts with plunging neckline. If you have big breasts you will choose the first shape because it will raise the chest down. For smaller breasts I will recommend the second shape.

How do you wear the bra?  When wearing white or transparent shirts you should wear bra in color of the skin, while for the sticky dresses is recommended bra with no visible edges. If you are preparing for a special occasion choose a bra with line label.

These are some advices for the women who want to feel free and in the same time to have nice breasts. Now you know that the secret of every woman is her bra. It is recommended not wearing a bra all the time because the breasts need space and air to breath.

Finally, those advices may not seem very convincing but, by time you will see that I’m right and that every expensive and good bra is a preventive from gaining breast cancer. You may not believe but the bra can also be something that can damage women health and safety. So, will you reconsider??

Radiation Not Good for Older Breast Cancer Patients?

Recent news on breast cancer in older patients is pointing to the conclusion that older patients with breast cancer may not need to under go radiation in combination with taking Tamoxifen pills as well. Tamoxifen is an estrogen hormone suppressant, and since estrogens are a fuel for most breast cancers, Tamoxifen is a drug that most breast cancer survivors are put on for a while after they go into remission, to prevent the cancer from coming back.

It was found that more patients died within several years after they were treated for breast cancer who had gotten both the radiation and the Tamoxifen treatment, while less patients died and had recurrence of the cancer who had just done the drug alone without the radiation.  The conclusion they made was that a lumpectomy, where the localized breast cancer area is taken out physically, combined with the oral drug may actually be better than, or at least a good starting point, radiation combined with it.

This is great news for older breast cancer patients, who will be spared the extra cost of radiation along with the drug.  This means less insurance costs, which is also a good thing for the health care system which is already over burdened with unnecessary costs, preventing people who really need other treatments to get them, and to get them on time.

Tamoxifen has been hailed as one of the greatest discoveries for breast cancer treatment and prevention because it does inhibit the excess estrogens in the body that are blamed for perpetuating breast cancer cells and growths.  One hopes that these studies are not flawed though, as women and their doctors may base their treatment choices on such studies and subsequent recommendations and conclusions.

We can only hope that the medical establishment has pure motives in mind when recommending this, and it’s not merely a cost savings ploy, however, I believe this may be pure, because right now there is so much money to be made, especially with the new government interventions into the health sector.

Whatever your opinion may be, you must ask the opinion of your doctor and trust them, if you  don’t trust they have your best interests in mind, it may be wise to seek a second opinion, but that’s just my opinion, and of course it depends on your personal situation, insurance coverage, etc. etc.

Bare Lifts Breast Lifters Promise Shape, Perkiness

So I got a solicitation email which I normally find annoying. However, this one, I actually opened and took a look at the related website because it was an interesting topic to me of course. Shoot, any product that promises breast lift, shape and support with actually wearing a bra, which you know I hate wearing if you’ve read my past postings on the topic, is of interest to me.

Bare Lifts are a peel and stick product that you place over your breast, then lift it up to give you the desired lift and cleavage if you are wearing a cleavage baring shirt of dress, and it securely stays on the breast, lifting it like a bra does all day. The only difference of course, is that it does not have straps or clasps, and may not be as uncomfortable as a bra. Notice I say “may not be as uncomfortable” though.

I thought about it, and although I have never tried them and would like to try them, I wonder how uncomfortable wearing a giant sticker would be on your breasts all day long. I thought about this too. What if you sweated a lot, would the sticker come undone and would you have to replace it?

It’s a cool concept though, because it really replaces that old idea of double sided tape to get your breasts to stay put where they’re supposed to when you’re wearing revealing or breast enhancing clothing. The before and after pictures of women with them off then on are pretty impressive. You can give yourself the exact desired lift that you want by pulling them up higher on your chest, which is cool because you can sort of adjust your cleavage and the amount of lift and perkiness that you want.

The website makes them look like they are a made for tv product, but I don’t think they are. The commercial on the website is pretty convincing that this is a great product, and I’m almost sold into buying a set of ten for ten bucks (not a bad price, but really all they are is a piece of sticky plastic too, and they are disposable).

The only reservation I have is how comfortable would they really be, and would the adhesive last all day or not? I’ll probably be ordering these, because we are going on a trip soon where I plan on wearing lots of barely there tank tops and strapless shirts, so we’ll put them to the test. I’ll let you know IF I end up buying them. Trying to be frugal with money now, so I’ll see if it’s worth it or not.
