Not Only Does Pill Make Boobs Hurt, It Might Make Men-Taste Bad!

Posted in Commentary by Breast News Girl on the August 28th, 2008

Well, this is certainly interesting, and definitely another argument that we really are more primitive than we think in the way that our instincts still guide us almost unseeingly and unknowingly, just as much as our conscious thoughts.  There has been debate over whether the pill might alter a woman’s attraction to men, and perception of which men might be the best mate for them, genetically speaking.  Now it appears that there is some proof that being on the birth control pill may affect who we choose as mates.

Women choose mates based on their “scent”, but it’s a scent at such a primitive and subconscious level that we aren’t really even consciously aware that there are reasons beyond looks that we are choosing these men.  Supposedly there are chemicals in a man’s sweat that women are greatly intuned to, and they let us know on a small scale how compatible that particular man is with us in a genetic way, meaning we can sense whether a man will produce strong offspring for us or not.

The birth control pill alters hormones in a woman’s body, and therefore may interfere with this delicate and discerning process, making a woman’s taste in men “skewed” and perhaps helping them to make the wrong decisions about which men will make the best mates for them on a genetically compatible level.

The problem is that women who are not on the pill tend to seek out men who are opposite of them in certain ways genetically which makes for better and stronger offspring, while women on the pill tend to seek men that are chemically and genetically similar to them, which can lead to weaknesses in the gene pool and produce weaker offspring.

What Can Breast Enhancement Creams Do?

Posted in Breast Enhancement Creams by Breast News Girl on the August 25th, 2008

Breast enhancement creams are external creams or lotions, or even serums, that are applied externally to the breast area which claim they can help to enhance the firmness, lift, tone and even the size of the breast with regular use and massage.  That’s the key term too, massage.  Using massage to enhance the firmness and size of the breasts has been used along with herbal concoctions by Chinese women for years and years, and they wouldn’t have kept doing it if there weren’t some truth to what it could do for the appearance of the breasts, and even the health and tone of the breast tissue.

By using a firming breast cream, along with massage, you are increasing the blood flow to the breast area, allowing the connective tissues to fill with more blood, which produces a stimulation that can help breast tissue “expand” and tone, creating a firmer, more lifted, and often larger look to the breast tissue.  For women who are looking for fuller breasts, they often don’t know there are some excellent breast implant alternatives that can be used in conjunction with these creams.

Using a breast enhancement cream can be a great addition not only to a natural breast enhancement pill or regimen, but it can also be a wonderful addition to an older woman’s beauty routine by helpind to reduce the likelihood that the breasts will become saggy and lose their tone.  It is well documented that with age, women lose breast tissue density which makes it harder to maintain the lift and fullness of breasts.

This is the common complaint many women have as they age, that their breasts appear to be “deflated” and have lost their youthful, full look that is lifted and firm as well.  Also, women who breast feed often complain that their breasts don’t look the same after they have breast fed their infants, because this also helps contribute to the “saggy” look of the breasts.  Breast enhancement creams can help correct these issues along with regular massage to help improve circulation and tone because of their stimulating ingredients.

Jennifer Love Hewitt In Support of Girls with “Butts, Boobs”

Posted in Celebrity Breasts by Breast News Girl on the August 22nd, 2008

I have to admit, I was never really a fan of the actress Jennifer Love Hewitt.  I can’t even tell you why, except I didn’t really care for any of the shows she was in, and maybe I didn’t really like her usual style of acting, although there was one movie I thought she was hilarious in with Sigourney Weaver where they play a pair of con women who happen to be mother and daughter called Heart Breakers.

They had a great chemistry and Jennifer really played the spoiled brat, princess role great.  Plus her and Jason Lee had a great chemistry of two people who initially hate eachother and grow fond at the end.

Well, I’ve become somewhat of a Jennifer Love Hewitt the person fan though, and I’ll tell you why.  She has fought back against quite a few mean tabloids who took pictures of her frollicking in the Hawaiian waters when she was on vacation with her new fiancee.  Many posted the pics, saying that Jennifer Love must’ve been eating everything that summer (poking fun at how she had gained a few and pairing that with one of her biggest movies, I Know What You Did Last Summer, as cheesy tabloids tend to do nowadays, heck even reputable news sites make cheesy headlines).

In the pictures, Jennifer did not look “fat” by any means, she merely looked like we all do when we might not be hitting the gym as much and maybe we’re just happy and eating what we like rather than starving herself like so many other actresses do who are obviously desperate for press and fan approval.  Jennifer has always been known for her great, full natural breasts, and of course what goes with that, is a little bit of curves.  What is she supposed to do, look like a boy everywhere else but her boobs?

I like the fact that Jennifer Love Hewitt can pack a few pounds on.  It makes her more relatable to me, and the fact that she came out in defense of her curvaceous appearance makes her all that much more attractive.  She said that she felt she had to defend all women with hips,a  butt and boobs, and I agree.

Why is it that men aren’t held to the same standard of ultra thinness and tone like women are, especially those in the limelight?  Good for Jennifer Love!  She does speak for me and most women I think who aren’t starving themselves just to be a certain size.  It’s time all women started to get seriously annoyed with that ideal.

Breast Pumping Still Popular?

Posted in Vacuum and Pump Devices by Breast News Girl on the August 18th, 2008

It seems that not only is breastfeeding enjoying a comeback, but women are not worrying so much about not being able to give their babies breast milk since they have the option to use a breast pump, and a very comfortable one at that, to extract the breast milk and put it in a bottle to be fed to the baby afterwards.  Usually the breast milk is stored in the referigerator or in the freezer so that it can stay fresh for as long as it needs to.

You can pump either one breast at a time with the older models, or more inexpensive models, but there are newer electric models (more expensive of course), that can pump both breasts at one time.  This is quite a time savings if you think about it, since each breast is 15 to 20 minutes of pumping time, so pumping both breasts at once saves you the equivalent of one breast pumping session.

Always keep in mind that if you have an electric breast pump, you want to  make sure you bring a back up battery so that if the power goes out, you can still continue your breast pumping session, so it’ll completely drain each breast instead of leaving you with possibly painful swollen breasts that are engorged with breast milk.

Ever Been Chided to Give Up That Favorite Old Bra?

Posted in Breast Health by Breast News Girl on the August 15th, 2008

Well, I’m writing this one because I just had this exact experience, with my boyfriend of course, who has been after me to get rid of a certain sports bra that I absolutely love, and should give up, because it’s beaten up and definitely way beyond “sexy” now, but I just can’t seem to find the strength to give it up.

She’s been with me (I know, I’m calling it a she, how pathetic), for about 7 years now, through the thick and thin, my choice over all other sexy pushup bras that are uncomfortable as hell, for so long that I can’t bear to give up the well worn in comfort and perfect support that I’ve enjoyed for so long now.

It’s a white sport’s bra, well, if you call a greyish, yellowish color white any more.  And yes, I’ve tried to bleach it many times, as you would be able to tell if you saw the worn through fabric on the back facing of the bra.  It’s actually a cheap-o bra too, it’s just that it’s the perfect size, and I wore it so much from the time I got it, that the elastic is stretched and fits my body perfectly, not making me feel constrained in the least, and giving the perfect support, although no nipple coverage, because those babies show right on through a t-shirt if I’m cold, because the bra is made  of a thin cotton to begin with and has gotten even thinner with years of wear, and the amount of time it’s actually been worn.

I may give it up some day, but right now, it just got me through a nine hour day at a hot amusement park with no problems, no tugging, no discomfort or anything, so it’s only strengthened my resolve that it’s not time for her to go, even with my boyfriend’s insistence that it’ll be ok to give her up!

Christina Applegate Diagnosed with Breast Cancer

Posted in Breast Cancer Prevention, Celebrity Breasts by Breast News Girl on the August 12th, 2008

Christina Applegate, perhaps best known for her breakout tv role in the hilarious and unconventionally witty Married with Children, has been recently diagnosed with very early stage breast cancer.  Her doctors say that she should make a full recovery, and that since it was detected so early on, they can go in and get it out and she should be ok.

This is pretty schocking, because the actress is only 36 years old, but there are cases where women who are in their thirties do get breast cancer, and that is why it is important to be aware of your body, and your breasts, and how they look and feel so that you can keep an eye on them and scope them out for any suspicious lumps, bumps, or sore spots.

Christina’s breast cancer was found so early on because she underwent an MRI, which is magnetic resonance imaging, which scans tissues at a level that the human eye cannot see, and perhaps even a mammogram may miss if it’s a very small spot, so this is why the doctors are so optimistic that they will get it all and she will make a fully recovery.

Doesn’t mean her battle’s over yet though, she will have to closely watch and monitor her breasts, and probably will have follow ups a couple times a year with doctors, perhaps getting scans regularly, since she did get it at such a young age, and they will want to keep tabs on her in case it develops again.

Catherine Zeta Jones Losing Her Curves?

Posted in Celebrity Breasts by Breast News Girl on the August 9th, 2008

Oh, not to worry, one of my favorite curvier actresses who seems to not give a hoot about being a size zero (and is unbelievably beautiful, more so because of this attitude and a confidence that goes with it), Catherine Zeta Jones, still is quite curvy and still quite beautiful, but she has lost a few pounds.  The actress, who has naturally big breasts and is very curvy, so she looks great in a curve-clinging dress, is sort of known to fluctuate a bit in her weight, which is fine with us!

Photos were recently snapped of her on vacation in a sunny part of Italy with her husband Michael Douglas, and her pics in a bathing suit seemed to reveal a bit more of a svelte figure, although she still had the trademark cleavage that makes us think of that cheesy old forties phrase (va va voom).  The thing about Catherine Zeta Jones is that she has a lot of class.

She was never one of the Hollywood starlets who dressed in super short skirts or dresses, or constantly had to be the one with the least amount of clothing on, and yet she remains one of the sexiest stars out there, especially since she’s approaching the age of 40 and has that self confidence that only a more mature women can have, but she’s seemed to possess that from the start, even early on in her career, captivating people with her seemingly nonchalant attitude toward the notorious weight war in Hollywood, and carrying her two pregnancies looking gorgeous and well filled out, something you sometimes don’t see on Hollywood actresses (think Angeline Jolie, who’s arms still stayed amazingly skinny, and it look like she only gained belly weight, which is actually very abnormal).

Hooray for women like Catherine Zeta Jones in the Hollywood limelight.  Not only is she stunning, but she’s doesn’t give a rat’s a*% about being a zero, and that’s why men and women alike love her.

Big Brother Has Lots O’ Breast Implants Again

Posted in Celebrity Breasts by Breast News Girl on the August 6th, 2008

Seems like Big Brother, the addictive reality show that pits people against one another in a house they have to live in together, separated from society, TV and radio for three months, has another season with lots of contestants with big breasts - but none of them look like they are the natural variety, at least to me.  Although one of the contestants, in fact the one with the largest breasts on the show, April, claims that her breasts are real, and the other one who I think has real breasts, but am not sure, Renny, also says hers are real (or hasn’t commented).

Big Brother really tries to get the good looking girls, but what about the guys ladies?  I haven’t seen a genuinely cute guy on the show who isn’t a meathead or a total idiot who seems to think he knows everything but might look halfway ok (I’m talking about Brian from this season by the way, who’s cute, but is already playing too hard).  And by the way, I’m way behind and just started the second episode, so for all I know Brian’s already kicked off the show, because it seemed like he was playing the game way too hard from the get go, which almost always bites you in the butt on the Big Brother show.

At any rate, you’ve got at least two obvious pairs of breast implants, and several questionable ones.  There are the two obvious ones, which are the blonde, Keisha, and the pretty girl Angie, who seems to have a very level head, at least so far, who are the standouts as having breast augmentations done, simply because of the size of their breasts as related to their body and waste size don’t match up.  However, April is extremely thin and has the largest breasts of them all, and claims hers are all real which I tend to believe or she used some really good breast implant alternative

I think they might be, because she let everyone feel her up and they all seemed to think they felt real.  Unless of course she had implants but was already well endowed or used some product like Avalon therapeutics Bountiful Breast (see forum and review) after getting implants to add some extra padding to her breasts to make them look more natural.  Renny I think is all real, but it’s hard to tell on her too, whether she may just have been well endowed already and had implants, or has very old silicone implants, which tend to look more realistic.

The Wrong Bra Can Damage Breast Ligaments?

Posted in Breast Toning and Firming by Breast News Girl on the August 3rd, 2008

Yup, that’s right.  Apparently not only can wearing the wrong bra size for your breasts be incredibly uncomfortable or unsupportive, but it can also have the potential to damage the ligaments that keep breasts in their proper place.  How did they find this out?  Well they put a bunch of women on treadmills and studied how their breasts moved around, bounced up and down and from the side to side, and found that those that were wearing what is considered to be the improper cup or circumference or strap size, had the most movement, and those that were wearing the right bra fit had the most restricted movement, and therefore less likelihood of breast damage.

They said that many bras would only limit vertical movement of the breasts, that is, up and down movement from chin to feet, rather than also limiting the side to side movement, which is not what most women think of when buying a bra for fit.  The bra should fit cozily to the breast so as to limit that side to side movement as well as the “bounce” effect, to make sure that the breasts are not potentially being harmed from too much movement around.

They say that bras should be bought based on not only comfort, but also on how well they actually keep your breasts “in place”, so don’t get stuck in that rut of buying the exact same bra you’ve always bought, just because that’s what your comfortable wearing, but rather when you try on the bras in the dressing room (and if you don’t always try on your bras, now’s the time to start!), try running in place or bouncing up and down and seeing what your breasts are doing when you are moving in the dressing room mirror.

The bras that support and hold the breasts in place, but are also not so tight you can’t breathe or they feel to restrictive, is the bra you should be getting for the best fit and the best health of your breasts and their precious ligaments.
