Pamela “Fake Boobs” Anderson’s Latest Marriage Anulled

Posted in Celebrity Breasts by Breast News Girl on the March 30th, 2008

I wish I could file this under a “who cares” category, but unfortunately I don’t have one.  This made our boob news really only because Pamela Anderson is the patron saint of boob jobs it seems, since she’s had a decent boob job, had them taken out and looked great, very natural and beautiful, and then must not have been able to stand having a nice pair of breasts, and went and got herself the awful, hard looking basketballs she has now.

Well, Pamela’s third, and short lived marriage is over, ending in anullment.  Anullment is when both parties agree to just dissolve a marriage as if it never even happened.  This time her lucky husband was Rick Solomon, the dude who was in a sex tape with Paris Hilton.

Rumors were that the pair had a stormy relationship to start (nah, really?), and Pamela was even reportedly pregnant for a while, although no one really knows what happened with that situation.  Let’s all hope she never gets married again so we don’t have to hear reports of a fourth divorce.

Who am I kidding, these kinds of clueless people always keep getting married!  Sorry Pam, but you deserved that one!  Focus on yourself and take care of your kids, forget about men for a while, and just have fun and enjoy your kids.

Obesity and Severity of Breast Cancer

Posted in Breast Cancer Prevention by Breast News Girl on the March 28th, 2008

As if there were not already enough reasons for women to make sure they keep their body fat percentage in check, there are many many more when it comes to looking at the risks of getting breast cancer, and now also there is conclusive evidence that supports the fact that obese women get a much more agressive form of breast cancer than their underweight of regular weight counterparts.

We’ve talked about before the fact that body fat on women tends to hold a lot of estrogen, and estrogen in too much abundance, specfic type so it that is, has been thought to fuel breast cancer growth, so scientists are linking the excess body fat to the more agressive cancer, which is called inflammatory breast cancer, which is most commonly found in obese women.

Also adding fueld to the fire is the fact that obese or overweight women are much more likely to die sooner from the breast cancer statistically, then their thinner counterparts.  Another reason to really watch our dietary fat, and burn off those extra calories with healthy exercise, which is another breast cancer enemy.

When women with breast cancer were grouped according to their BMI, a calculation which figures out how much of your body weight is fat, the women with lower body fat and lower overall BMI’s survived longer than the women that were in the obese or overweight category, which means they had much more body fat, by a statistical enough amount to show that less body fat equates to longer survival with breast cancer.

Not only is obesity and high body fat percentages a huge risk factor for breast cancer, but as if that evidence weren’t enough there are strong indications that extra weight equals much higher likelihood of developing several different typs of cancer, in both men and women.

This new breast cancer research gives us all enough evidence that we should really take care of our bodies, as they were meant to be, and treat food as a sustaining nutrition instead of a purely pleasurable past time, which is one of our biggest problems in how we view food, and in my opinion a huge reason why we have such problems with obesity here.

First Lady Joins Breast Cancer Fight

Posted in Breast Cancer Prevention by Breast News Girl on the March 23rd, 2008

The first lady, Laura Bush, has pitched in her helping hand in an issue which concerns all women, as it should, breast cancer.  Breast cancer research and the fight to help find better treatments and preventive screenings methods has long been a passion of many women who have both fought the fight themselves at some point, or lost a loved one to breast cancer, or had a loved one go through a terrible battle with the all too common disease.

Her Mexican counterpart, Margarita Zavala, have joined forces between Mexico and the US in a joint fight to raise breast cancer awareness and make everyone realize how important it is that we all make sure our friends and family member are as protected as possible by going for screenings, and recognizing the risk factors and how they can personally mitigate the risks of breast cancer in their own lives.

They want women to feel encouraged and empowered to seek treatment for suspected breast cancer earlier rather than later and say that societal stigmas against seeking treatment or being uneducated in what the signs of breast cancer could be, and say that women’s breast cancer survival rates can be greatly improved if they can just catch it earlier and encourage women to get the proper medical care leading up to the time in their lives where they are more susceptible, as well as looking out for their family members.

They also say that most cases of breast cancer are detected in later stages when the treatment is more complicated and less effective, and where women have less changes of survival.  They aim to change the stigma related with medical treatments and make it more affordable and accessible to those that need it, which is basically every women alive, especially those that are in the higher risk groups and those that are of a certain age.

Hopefully the can do some good together by taking it on as a team, and by making it seem like we are more united as women, since this affects every race and nationality of women anyways.

Heidi Montag’s Breast Implants

Posted in Celebrity Breasts by Breast News Girl on the March 18th, 2008

Nothing is more annoying than many of these reality shows which spawn fifteen minute celebrities, and for some reason this Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt duo bring out the animosity in many, including me, because they seem to be so superficial in every sense of the word.  Now Heidi is pursuing a singing career, with her boyfriend Spencer, who’s supposed to be a “bad boy” I guess, I’ve never seen the show, managing her career.

One of the most noticeable things about Ms. Montag is that she has definite breast implants.  Well, good for her, I did read a review that said she was incredibly insecure with her breasts and decided to get breast implants, so it’s good that she got them and can feel better about herself.  However, she may have gone just a tad big on them, but I guess they still look ok, albeit a bit overdone.

I just hope that women like her get them because they want them, not because they think they need to look a certain way, and God forbid they get them because some guy they’re with encourages it and only wants a woman with large breasts.  I say if it makes you happy, like the Sheryl Crow song says, then that’s all that matters.

HRT Still Causing Problems for Women, Years Later

Posted in Breast Cancer Prevention by Breast News Girl on the March 15th, 2008

There’s been a lot of hubub about the safety of HRT, or hormone replacement therapy, which was touted as a great way to counteract the effects of menopause in pre-menopausal and menopausal women, usually in their fifties or late forties.  However, HRT has been largely stopped unless it is being taken for specific medical reasons, because of a government backed study that found it significantly increased  heart disease risks.

It was also thought to increase the risk of certain types of cancer in women, but that thought was that it only increased the risk while the woman was actually taking the HRT treatments, and disappeared pretty much after she was off of them.  However, there’s been good news mixed with bad.

The good news is, the heart risks associated with HRT disappeared after they went off HRT, but there are still lingering cancer risks years later, and ongoing studies are finding that women are getting cancerous tumors on their lungs and breasts, and also may have a higher risk of other types of cancer, significant enough to warrant concern for women who were on HRT at some point in their life and are now off of it.

The problem is, researchers cannot figure out what the specific factors are in the HRT treatments that increase cancer so significantly.  They are also thinking that the fairly recent decline in breast cancer in women has been at least partly due to the fact that HRT has largely been halted due to safety concerns.

Of course that makers of one popular HRT drug have refuted or at least challenged the study’s findings, saying that they were done on women in their sixties, which is not the typical demographic for HRT users, and that women in their sixties logically will have more health issues than younger women in the late forties and fifties would have.

While researchers say that increased awareness is needed, they do not want to cause alarm, but do want women who have been on HRT to take a bit more precaution when it comes to preventive cancer care and screening.

Big Brother’s Natalie’s Boobs Fake?

Posted in Celebrity Breasts by Breast News Girl on the March 12th, 2008

Well, it’s I think like the 9th season of Big Brother, and as usual, I hem and haw about watching a show that takes up three nights of my time per week, but I’m totally addicted to watching this ridiculously addictive reality show.  This season has some interesting characters, without a doubt.  This also happens to be a season where they’ve had the most young people ever.

They usually sprinkle in a couple of “older” people, but this time it seems they only put one actual adult in the house, Sheila, a mother who seems at times to be less mature than any of them with her tantrums and frequent outbursts against her partner just for being, well, himself.  There seems to be quite a few girls in the house with natural breasts this time, however, there is one that has larger than life boobs, and although at first I thought they might actually be just a really nice pair of naturals, I changed my mind when she started wearing more revealing bikini tops.

That large breasted Big Brother contestant is named Natalie.  Natalie is a girl from as she calls it “the Beaver state” Oregon, and she works as a bikini barista at a local coffee shop where girls serve coffee in their bikinis to probably a mostly male clientele would be my guess.

Natalie has a voluptuous body, but she’s still fairly thin, just curvy, and her breasts look like they are probably about large C cups, teetering on possible D’s.  They look natural, until you see the sides of her breasts, and they look like they could definitely be breast implants and not natural breasts

Also, there was was a recent episode where she was wearing a bikini top, laying down on a weight bench and the camera caught her from underneath her breasts, and her breasts were not going flat like real ones would when a woman lays flat on her back, but rather they were still standing at attention, which further confirmed my suspicion that this likeable, if not slightly wacky girl, might have breast implants and not just be naturally well endowed.

Does Amy Winehouse Have Implants?

Posted in Celebrity Breasts by Breast News Girl on the March 9th, 2008

Amy Winehouse is known for a lot of things.  First and foremost, I hate to say it because this sounds very jaded, but she is known mostly for her problems with drugs and a soap opera like life story where her husband is behind bars and has already OD’d once, and also for her struggles with very hard core street drugs like crack cocaine, to name one.

She also, of course, wouldn’t be in the spotlight if it weren’t for her immense singing talent and an ability to connect with her audience.  She has performed wonderfully in front of audiences, and also has disappointed many times, presumably because she was either under the influence at the time, or shortly before her performance.  There’s been a lot of speculation about her life for obvious reasons but one thing remains true, she is a very gifted singer, and a great performer when she’s at the top of her game, but drugs may stand to put an early end to her life if she continues on her current path.

That said, Amy is also exceedingly thin, and seems to have something that we are always interested in talking about here at BreastNewsMagazine.com, she has breasts!  Even for being what looks like a size zero, Amy Winehouse appears to potentially be sporting a fairly small pair of realistic looking breast implants.

The reason I make this educated guess is because technically for a woman of her size, she should have almost no breasts at all.  The likelihood that they are real is small, let’s just say, in my opnion, but I could be wrong, there are always anomalies out there as well!

MyFreeImplants.com Continues to Be Phenomenon

Posted in Implant News by Breast News Girl on the March 6th, 2008

Well, when we talked about this, or some other similar site a while ago, I thought that it seemed like it was kind of a cheap way to get men to pay for your implants, but when I read another story about it recently, I decided, hey, if women want to spend a lot of time racking up credits toward breast implants, all the more power to them, you know?  This is also why breast enlargement pills have become alternatives to women who want breast implants but do not want to undergo surgery and also do not want to pony up $5,000 plus for them.

I guess that a little over a hundred women have gotten free breast implants from posting their profile on MyFreeImplants.com, which is a website that is run to get men who post messages to the women who are members with profiles to pay a certain dollar amount for each message.  It seems to be working, because several women have reported that after several months and lots of messages, and gaining maybe sort of a “fandom” among male benefactors, they have achieved enough credits to get themselves some new breast implants.

It’s intersting to see that so many women are still wanting breast implants.  It almost seems that pretty soon there will hardly be any women in the US that don’t have breast implants in a way!  As I said, if you truly want breast implants and are not willing to pay for them, or to pursue natural methods of breast enhancement, and are willing to give up a significant amount of time to post replies to your messages etc., then this just might be the way for you to get your free breast implants.

Mammograms May Predict Stroke Risk

Posted in Breast Cancer Prevention by Breast News Girl on the March 3rd, 2008

Mammograms are an essential part of every women’s periodic doctor checkups, especially once they are over the age of 40,  since they can detect potential spots of breast cancer in their earlier stages, and are better at this than the manual massage/hand method that most women who may not be in a high risk category use up until they are about 40 years old, and sometimes unfortunately older.

Well, not it appears that in certain instances the mammogram, which was once thought only to be a predictor of breast cancer, may also help to predict a stroke before it happens so that preventive measures may be taken by healthcare professionals to head it off or put a woman on certain preventive medications or diet regimen before the stroke occurs.

This is important, especially with the news that strokes in middle aged woman have almost tripled, most likely due to an increase in belly fat, which is a major problem when it comes to heart disease and stroke.  The reason that mammograms have been added to the list as possible “inadvertent” indicators of stroke risk, is that they may accidentally reveal to the person looking at the mammograms that a woman has artery buildup, which is a major concern when it comes to potential stroke risk.

The doctor and technicians need to be aware however, to look for this in order to make a diagnosis or put the woman on a preventive program.  If they can train themselves to look for this as well as any masses indicating potential breast cancer, then we could have another way to head off strokes before they occur.  Strokes occur when blood is cut off from the brain, usually by some sort of blockage in the arteries or vessels that carry blood and oxygen to the brain.
