Breast Cancer and Vitamin D
Yet another new study on the prevention of breast cancer is yielding some sort of surprising evidence that a new vitamin may be added to the breast cancer arsenal against the spread of the deadly cancer. It’s Vitamin D.
For some reason, and not to say that these findings are conclusive in any way, but mostly theoretical at this point, researchers have found that women with advanced breast cancer have much lower levels of this vitamin in their blood than women with just the beginning signs of breast cancer.
Does this necessarily mean that vitamin D is some sort of cancer stopper when it comes to the growth and development of breast cancer cells? Well, not necessarily, since a cause and effect in this case still has not been determined, but the study may point to more studies which get deeper into the source of why this is so.
Reasearchers are saying that after these findings, the vitamin that is commonly found in eggs, some veggies and is naturally absorbed and made by the body when it is exposed to sunlight, may be a supportive factor for women who have beginning stages of breast cancer if it can help them to fight the advance of the disease.
Some of the studies had demonstrated that Vitamin D may help speed the destruction of cancer cells while also stopping cancer cells from multiplying - or metastasising. This may be a huge discovery, since as we all know, vitamin D is cheap!
Girl Has Breast Removed After Piercing
An eighteen year old girl in Crawfordsville IN thought she’d like to get her breasts pierced for her eighteenth birthday, and now, as a result of that piercing, she has suffered severe infection and now has to have her left breast surgically removed to avoid further infection and basic blood poisoning, or toxicity.
Doctors reportedly say that the infection caused there to be an entry point for bacteria, which bred and created a flesh eating bacteria which would have only advanced further if the girl’s breast was not removed. Not only did she had to have her left breast removed, she also had to have some of the lymph nodes by her breasts and her collar bone removed to prevent a serious spread of infection.
The girl was reportedly a diabetic, and this notoriously makes people more easily infected, and allows infections to travel much more readily throughout the body. The girl now will have to face massive breast reconstruction, which usually is only reserved for older women who have had breast cancer. This could be really rough for an eighteen year old.
She’s actually lucky to be alive, as doctors said when she arrived at the hospital nearly all of the flesh surrounding the breast was already “dead”, and she still has a long way to recovery. She may need to have a breast implant as reconstruction comes along, or seek out breast implant alternatives.
Woman Politically Campaigns with Her Cleavage
A woman recently who was running for public office as a libertarian candidate (whom almost never get elected, they’re just put on the ballot to keep the “extra” political party satisfied), used her cleavage as her primary campaign tool when she had pictures printed on t-shirts and other campaign promotional materials of her in a low cut, cleavage bearing dress.
This was all done in hopes of catching mostly male, and some female attention, and at least getting some of the dubious vote, and a little more press. Cleavage goes a long way, doesn’t it in some cases?
I don’t remember all the details of this news story, but I believe the woman was running for public office in Alabama, or another southern state, and she had “big” blond hair, and the tshirts showing her bearing her cleavage certainly were not modest! Whatever works, if you got it flaunt it I guess!
Tara Reid Speaks About Botched Boob Job
Tara Reid’s new breast implants have become tabloid fodder and office joke material since the red carpet incident where her dress, unbeknownst to her, fell down just enough to expose her newly done breasts, and to show that they were obviously not looking like they should.
She recently has come forward and said that she is planning on going back to the doctor who did her breast implants and getting her botched boob job fixed. Tara says she had the original breast surgery in 2004, to augment her breasts and to also even out her stomach (don’t know why, I guess that’s another story), and emerged with a botched job on both. The breast implant operation resulted in a very noticeable scar, and scarring should really be minimal when you get breast implants.
What we saw on the red carpet resulted in poor Tara’s embarrassing nickname for ther breasts “frankenboobs” (yes, people are that cruel), and she says that incident caused her great humiliation and embarrassment.
Tara has said that she was a 34B cup size, but she had unevenly sized breasts, which is actually a common complaint with women, and she wanted to get it fixed as well as get some sagging skin filled out around her breasts.
Tara plans to have her surgery fixed for both her botched liposuction and botched boob job, but plastic surgery corrections are notoriously hard to accomplish, since the surgeon essentially has to fix another surgeon’s work, and it may be difficult to figure out the logistics of someone else’s work, and how to get the body back to where it was before the surgery.
This story is a great example of why many women are choosing breast implant alternatives as a means to achieve larger or fuller breasts.
Birth Control Pill and Natural Breast Enhancement Products
I received this question from a reader who was concerned that any natural breast enhancement supplement may interfere with the effectiveness of her birth control pill. While I couldn’t really “answer” this question, I offered her some options for finding this out from the products manufacterer, whatever product she chose.
Question :
I have a question that I’m hoping you might be able to answer; Could natural
breast enhancement supplements alter the affectivemenss of birth control?

Breast Cancer Prevention Update
There are constantly new studies coming out about how we as women can help our bodies fight against breast cancer, and help to maintain healthy breast tissue. The latest in breast cancer research does not come as much of a shock, but rather is somewhat of a common sense issue, since these pointers really apply to every aspect of both male and female health.
Lack of exercise and weight gain has been strongly linked to the development of breast cancer cells in women. The new study suggests that women who are going through their post menopause stage (after menopause, the change of life when women stop menstruating and their estrogen levels decline), are much less likely to develop breast cancer if they keep their weight down and exercise on a regular basis.
Hmm, common sense, huh? But now we can definitely say that it also can help save our lives in yet another way - by helping us to maintain healthy breasts past menopause, when women are more susceptible to unhealthy breast tissue mutations.
The recommendation for exercise for women is about a half hour, at least five days a week - not too bad - you could accomplish this in a brisk walk or a little treadmill time without much time lost. Plus, you feel great when you’re done, so it’s also a mood lifter.
A possible reason for this is that when you exercise and you are not overweight, you do not usually have as much fat on the body, and supposedly this is where excess hormones are sometimes stored. Just a guess though, I’m no doctor!
Silicone Safety Issues Withheld?
A consumer advocate group called “Public Citizen” is calling for an in depth investigation into allegations by a whistle blowing party that one of the companies pushing for permanent silicone breast implant approval has withheld key safety information (most likely to the detriment of the approval of silicone implants), in an effort to make them look safer than they are to gain permanent approval again here in the US.
The silicone breast implant alternative has been one that has not consistently been available to women who would like a more natural feeling breast implant for quite a few years now, amid safety concerns after several women with this type of breast implant came forward accusing the implants of causing immune system issues as well as other health hazards that were otherwise unexplained.
The scientist who came forward claims that Mentor Corp. who manufactures one of the silicone breast implants, withheld information about how leak proof the implants are as well as durability and other important health and safety related issues that would be of concern to the FDA.
Some feel that if this investigation is not done, other pharmaceutical and medical device companies will feel it is ok and acceptable to submit only the “good studies” to the FDA when going for approval on a particular device or medication, rather than submitting both the good and bad - in other words, full disclosure of the good bad and ugly.
The FDA has not yet granted either one of the primary manufacturers of silicone implants the right to fully market their products, so this issue may be caught in time, as long as the right people get involved and everything goes as planned.
This is not the first whistleblower that has come forward with concerns about the safety of the Mentor silicone implants - apparently five others came forward as well and were interviewed, but the FDA is somewhat hand tied on this (don’t quite understand why). Just be mindful, if you’re thinking of getting implants, then it probably is still safest to go with saline, even if silicone are available at the time you get the operation.
Breast Implant Alternative Question from Reader
Hi, I love your website and the reviews you guys use.
However, I’m 18 years old (bust size A) and I’m petite. The only thing that
is making me hesitant to take any of your products is the scare of
stretch marks on my breasts…do you know if there is a risk in this, or if
I should apply a stretch mark cream (cocobutter) while taking any of
your products? Any answers will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Answer :
Hello. I can understand your hesitance, and actually breastenhancepill itself does not sell any products, rather we really just give an overview of them and give you their website links for you to check out the product in full. As far as stretch marks, you may want to contact the individual makers of the various products reviewed and discussed here, and ask if they’ve had any clients experience and/or report this.
As far as reducing the likelihood of stretchmarks, you are correct that cocoa butter has been known to help reduce these, as well as shea butter (I believe shea butter is actually better). Additionally, please see an overview below of the particular products and breast enlarging pills recommended, and you can take a look at their sites. Breast implant alternatives such as pills and creams may be lessened if you use a cream as well, since the rubbing motion and the emollients in the cream can help prevent likelihood of stretch marks. Hope this helps!
Boob Implants Save Another Life?
Just a few measly weeks ago, it was reported that a middle eastern woman’s life was saved after her silicone implants deflected flaming hot shrapnel from coming straight for her heart, and basically saved her life, although of course then her implant had to be replaced. Well, here’s another odd story of a woman’s breast implants literally saving her life…
A 24 years old Bulgarian’s woman’s oversized silicone (yeah, silicone again) breast implants reportedly acted as her natural airbags when her airbags failed to go off in her car. No kidding, I actually laughed out loud when I read this one.
The woman’s breasts are a 40DD size, and thanks to their gargantuan size, her internal organs were basically shielded from what could have been some very serious internal injuries, and even certain death when she was involved in a head on collision with another vehicle. Wonder what this lady’s profession is to have them that big?
Either she’s in the dancing industry or is an “actress” if you know what I mean (just a guess though - she might be a librarian for all we know). So, yet another argument for breast implants, I begrudginly might admit. I guess if you went for a natural breast implant alternative, this may not have happened to you.
Breastfeeding and IQ
OK, there have been so many conflicting reports and schools of thought on this. Now apparently there are studies to debunk the long standing thought that breast feeding your child will help improve their intellect, or IQ.
Although many like to believe this since breastfeeding definitely has some other undeniable health and well being benefits to our infants, the part about increasing intelligence is not appearing to be true.
The findings were published Wednesday October 4th in the British Medical Journal. It is true that children that were breast fed scored higher on IQ tests given in the study, but that was not a direct relation to the breast feeding itself. Rather, the higher IQ test scores from the children that were breast fed were because of an oustide influence.
Their mothers or parents were from better educated, more affluent backgrounds, and tended to teach their children earlier on - it’s basically a nature vs. nurture thing. These children’s environments happened to correspond to being conducive to learning more, faster.
While scientists have been studying and hypothesizing about the link between breast feeding and IQ scores, the scientist who headed up this most recent and conclusive study on the matter said that the best place to look for the responsible party for the child’s IQ and learning capabilities was still the mother’s IQ.
The reasearchers even went so far as to look at siblings who were breast fed vs. bottle fed, and they found no significant difference in the children’s IQ, with all other factors being the same, so this seems as though it is a fairly accurate study.
