Heidi Klum’s Breasts “All Natural”

Posted in Celebrity Breasts by Breast News Girl on the September 29th, 2006

Heidi Klum is a great beauty. She started off as a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, and quickly gained popularity and a following from the male crowd due to her long legs and naturally large breasts, which any guy usually goes gaga over.

Her hourglass figure was only further accentuated with her pregnancies, and the beauty is now pregnant again with her beau Seal’s child and is looking more voluptuous than ever. Heidi’s boobs are the real thing. If you look at earlier pictures of the bombshell, you can see that she’s always had kind of naturally larger breasts and a thinner body, although she is considered on the thicker side in the modeling world even though she’s rail thin by normal standards.

Heidi is now becoming a marketing guru, marketing her own wares now, and also having her own hit reality show “Project Runway” which follows several aspiring fashion designers in their quest to win big for a contract designing for bigger fashion firms and of course the notoriety of winning the show.

Heidi has been around for a while as a model. Her most recent modeling stint has been a long contract with the uber popular lingerie suit Victoria’s Secret, where she is as notable a staple on the runway as other Victoria’s Secret stars like Tyra Banks and Gisele Bunchen. Seems like foreign women are often gifted in the killer body department, doesn’t it? So not fair!

Breast Massage and Cancer

Posted in Breast Health, Breast Cancer Prevention by Breast News Girl on the September 27th, 2006

I have been reading up on this quite a bit lately, because the idea that breast massage may possibly be therapeutic for many breast health issues, namely and  most importantly, breast cancer, is not only intriguing but compelling to me to find an answer as to whether it really does help.

It seems after reading several qualified individual’s takes on whether breast massage can be beneficial to help the breasts maintain health and be breast cancer free, that breast massage is indeed helpful for the effective drainage of numerous pathogens, or cancer causing toxins and agents, which can build up in the breasts fatty tissue.

The fact that breasts are composed of all fat actually increases the storage ability of the tissue.  You see, toxins are supposedly stored more easily in fatty tissue.

This is the same idea behind the recommendation of many naturopaths and organic advocates to eat only organic dairy products, because dairy products are a fatty part of an animal, and this is where the animal’s body stores all of its toxins.  Same basic idea here.

Most massage therapists will tell you that hard massage is not good, and in fact may actually be counter productive to the ultimate goal of breast health and breast cancer prevention.  A gentle massage should be used to create the release of the harmful toxins that may build up.

You may want to get online and search for healthy breast massage techniques.  There are several good sites that can recommend a breast massage regimen for you that will be healthy and productive.

Sensitivity in Areola

Posted in Breast Health by Breast News Girl on the September 25th, 2006

One of the best things about a woman’s breasts, besides the obvious one, that they are made to lovingly feed an infant and create the most intimate of bonds between mother and child, is that they are also an instrument of physical intimacy and pleasure in women.

Women’s breasts are extremely sensitive to the touch, as long as there has been no nerve damage done to the tissue surrounding the nipple, the areola, or the nipple itself.  Sometimes, it is true that if a woman has had breast implants, especially through her nipple, or areola (areolar implants), she actually has a chance of losing some sensation, at least partially, or in the  most extreme cases, some women with breast implants lose all sensation in their nipples.

This is a great shame, because the nipple and the areola are one of women’s greatest erogenous zones.  Just a simple, soft touch or glide in this area from our lovers can stimulate thoughts of sexual intimacy and eroticism.  Most women will feel a slight loss of sensation during certain times of the month, and then feel a great deal of sensation during other times of the month, depending on hormones and how swollen her breasts are.

While it is true that women with breast implants may lose sensation, this is in fact only temporary, and the feeling should return after a few months, if not a few weeks after surgery.

Breast News :

Hello.  I only know of exercises to help reshape and firm the breasts, but honestly I am not sure they will 100% help with your situation, as it depends on the severity of your condition.
Please visit these pages for suggestions on breast massage, as well as breast exercises to help you regain the round shape of your breast, as well as to help firm, tone and lift the breasts which should also help with the reshaping.  Best of luck to you.

Women and Bras : The Love/Hate Relationship

Posted in Breast Health, Commentary by Breast News Girl on the September 21st, 2006

Let’s face it, most women really hate wearing a bra.  Bras can be your best friend and your worst enemy.  A good bra can give you the perfect, shapely sillouhette in that new sweater you bought, but at the same time can make you feel constricted and uncomfortable.

The bra, or brassiere, as we know it today was the invention of a wealthy woman whose name was Mary Phelps Jacob back in 1913.  Up until the the modern day bra, women were subjected to an even worse dicomfort and hassle called the corset, which basically pinched a woman’s whole torso and breast area into submission by being pulled tight to accentuate a more hour glass figure.

Corsets could actually be pulled dangerously tight, specifically to draw a woman’s waist in dramatically, all the while squeezing her internal organs and making for a very uncomfortable existence all together.

The bra was actually a welcome change to women who were used to what looked like a medieval torture chamber, the complicated corset.  As time went on, bras were diversified, as everything else is, into modern “breeds” of bra, such as the underwire, the sports bra, the push up bra, miracle bra, water bra, strapless bra, and a bevy of other innovations made to serve fashion and comfort, depending on your preference or fashion needs.

Women today, at least I know I speak for myself and several other female friends, still have a love/hate relationship with their bras.  Heck, if it were up to me, we’d be back in the hippie days of bra burning and thumbing our nose at society, going around braless, comfortable, liberated and happy.

The bra burning movement occurred in the era of feminism and the age of outspoken feminists such as Gloria Steinem, encouraging women to burn their bras and thumb their nose at a society that had basically all but forced them into wearing them.

You see, there has actually been speculation that wearing tight or restrictive bras, or any bra at all, may actually lend to causing breast cancer.  Some theorists speculate that bras constrict the healthy flow of toxins in and out of the breasts.  This constriction can lead to a buildup of toxins in the breast tissue itself, lending to cancerous cell formation and ultimately breast cancer.

But alas, we are still expected to wear these sometimes uncomfortable and restrictive contraptions, unless we want to be the subject of office gossip and judgemental glances from women, or lingering stares of men.  You see, bras are really just a societal standard now, and if you want to fit in with society and be accepted, unfortunately in social situations and in the work environment you still have to wear a bra.  That doesn’t mean it still can’t be the first item of clothing you rip off when you come home though!

New Test for Breast Cancer Spreading

Posted in Breast Cancer Prevention, Breasts in the News by Breast News Girl on the September 21st, 2006

There may be a new technology to detect the spread of breast cancer is women who have breast cancer at various stages of the disease.  It is a new diagnostic tool whose idea is to look for and find circulating tumor cells, which actually can give sort of a reading of the spreading of breast cancer throughout the body.

This unique tool would be able to spot one cancer cell out of millions of healthy cells.  If a woman tests “positive” for the malignant cancer cells, this means her prognosis is not as good as a woman who has tested “negative” since the negative test means that the woman’s blood is not circulating the cancerous cells, and therefore it is staying localized to one area rather than spreading.

This test could not just improve the treatment of the cancer by telling oncologists whether their treatment is successful, but it can also almost immediately tell them whether the treatment is working, and can also tell them to more agressively treat the breast cancer if it is not killing off the cancerous cells, since the spread of these cells is what most often kills women with breast cancer.

An example of how this could work is a woman who is not responding well to chemotherapy or radiation can be switched to another treatment instead, and can react instantly to that other treatment, therefore saving time and saving lives.

This is an exciting new development, and I can’t help but notice there are quite a few simultaneous developments in the field of breast cancer research.  Hopefully one day the word “cancer” will not be as scary of a diagnosis as it is today….

Breast Cancer Highest Risk in N. America

Posted in Breast Health, Breast Cancer Prevention by Breast News Girl on the September 19th, 2006

Well, North American women did not get some good news about their risk of breast cancer.  Not only are North American women at a statistically much higher risk for developing breast cancer, but doctors are now saying that women who have a specific gene mutation, may not want to get chest xrays.

Chest xrays may actually significantly increase these high risk women’s risk of actually developing breast cancer, since they have the breast cancer weakness there already.  No one should have a chest xray unless it is absolutely needed, is the end outcome and advice of some physicians, JUST IN CASE.

One doctor was actually recommending that women get a chest MRI instead (lower levels of radiation I suppose).  The outcome of the ongoing studies in not yet known 100% though, and the caution is still there from preliminary studies against getting chest xrays, etc.

Future “gene testing” may be available though to determine whether certain women even need to worry about getting mammograms or chest xrays.

Did Christina Aguilera Have Breast Implants?

Posted in Celebrity Breasts by Breast News Girl on the September 17th, 2006

She’s never publicly owned up to or acknowledged it, but pop star Christina Aguilera, always known for her tiny little petite frame, has definitely had some sort of surgical breast augmentation done.

Thing is, I can’t figure out how they look so darn good, seeing as though it looked like she started off fairly skinny and flat.  I almost wonder if she got the surgery and also took supplements, etc?

One thing is for sure, she had some major growth, whether it was 100% surgical breast growth or not.  I have to admit though, she looks great.  They look natural, and like they would be soft like natural breasts.  Of course I don’t know what they feel like, but…….  Gotta to admit, I also love her new album.

The girls can sure sing.  She’s nothing like her two other big breasted counterparts, Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson (also both of whom have been speculated to have some boob help from surgeons).

Sheryl Crow’s Breast Cancer

Posted in Natural Breast Enhancement & Enlargement by Breast News Girl on the September 15th, 2006

It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about Sheryl Crow’s bout with breast cancer.  Shortly after she was unceremoniously “dumped” by the noncomittal Lance Armstrong, Sheryl came out and announced that she had breast cancer and would need to cancel several subsequent concerts to undergo a surgery to remove the breast cancer.

Sheryl described the surgery as minimally invasive, since her breast cancer had not advanced too far yet.  She also stated that she would undergo radiation, not chemotherapy, as a precaution.

Sheryl says that she hopes her early detection is a testament to how important it can be in the effective eradication of breast cancer when it is caught earlier.  We haven’t heard too much about how she’s doing, except she’s made a few great new songs, so we can all assume she is doing fine now.  Here’s to hoping Shery’s healthy lifestyle serves her well, and she does not have a reoccurence of this cancer.

Illegal “Basement” Cosmetic Surgeries in Brazil

Posted in Surgical Augmentation, Enhancement & Enlargement by Breast News Girl on the September 13th, 2006

Brazil is getting quite a problem with illegally performed cosmetic surgeries, including breast implants, that bait Brazilian women who want anything from Botox, to breast implants, to a nose job, into getting their service dirt cheap, but many times at a price.

You see, these “doctors” are not even licensed many times to practice medicine, much less perform cosmetic surgery on anyone, and here they are, getting paid (albeit a much lower price than a professional service), to perform illegal surgeries on women.

The problem came to a head when a young woman recently paid just over $3,000 to get a nose job and liposuction.  She ended up dying of complications related to getting fatty tissue on her lungs, about 3 days after she had the liposuction illegally performed on a massage table in someone’s basement.

These dirtbags are performing the surgeries without the right facilities and credentials, and especially with high danger operations like liposuction, are putting people in jeopardy by preying on them for a cut rate cost to what they would get from a profession and licensed facility.

Many complications have arisen from these illegally performed cosmetic surgeries, including deaths, and authorities are trying to warn women against falling for this type of scam.  Talk about paying the ultimate price for beauty….
