Breast Implant Alternatives

What are your alternatives to breast implants? Those hard, annoying things that many times end up looking like inflated balloons rather than natural breasts?

Here are some breast implant alternatives you may know about already:

Devices like Brava, which use suction to gradually naturally enlarge breasts

Herbal Supplements

Other types of pills

Pregnancy

Pumps (I believe this is temporary)

Falsies (also temporary, but fun for a day!)

Breast Cream Question

I got this question from a reader who wanted to enhance their cheekbones, and thought maybe they could achieve this through using a breast cream designed to enlarge the breasts.  I advised that I do not think this would work, but I’m no expert.

Question : I know it may sound far-fetched and funny but I have been
looking for years a way to enhance my cheekbones; other than plastic surgery. Thus, I
would like to know whether I could use the breast cream that is supposed to enlarge a women’s breasts in the cheekbones area and therefore have similar results (cheekbones enlargement).  I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.

Answer : While I am not an expert on the subject, I do not believe you would achieve success in enlarging your cheek bones by using one of these breast enhancement creams, as they are specifically designed to deliver herbs which are only supposed to target breast tissue, and therefore, I do not think you would achieve “growth” in any other body tissues to which it was applied.  I would contact the actual manufacterer (website) of a product you were interested in and ask though.

Answer : For men, these male breast enhancing products can give some of the best results for because they act as a natural hormone modulation therapy.  You may not want to take less than the thirteen month breast enlarging treatment for men if you want maximum results and the most noticeable cup size gains and fullness to your breasts.

I got another question from a reader (yes, it’s been a busy month), on the Pueraria Mirifica plant, which has garnered some attention as of late as a natural bust enhancement product.  Here goes:

Hello

1. Please do you know where I can buy the breast enhancing supplements that contain this herb
Answer : The only product I know of currently that contains Pueraria Mirifica is a product called Mirifem.
2. Do you know if this herb can help me gain weight in my hips also, if not can you let me know of any herb that can help me gain weight in the hips?
Answer : I would contact the folks at Mirifem and ask them.  Just google them and I’m sure they have an email address you can send questions like this to about their product and any side effects or other effects you desire to achieve with their product.

Not giving this publicly.

Herbal Interactions

I got this question from a reader, and thought I’d post it, although I cannot advise her on this, only her physician can.

Question : I take Klonopin, .05 mg three times a day for panick attacks related to a specific phobia.  Are the natural herbs in these pills safe to take while taking this benzodiazapine, Klonopin?
Thankyou,
xxxxxxxx
Answer : I wish I could answer that for you, but I am neither an herbalist nor a physician.  I would suggest talking to your prescribing physician about this before considering taking any type of herbal breast enhancement supplement, or any herbal supplement for that matter, since certain herbs may cause interactions with various drugs and other herbs.

Hope this helps somewhat, sorry I couldn’t be more of a help!

Herbal Breast Ehancement Skeptic

Here’s a true skeptic, but can you blame them?  Name withheld for privacy.

Person wrote:

As a reader, I’m afraid that your reviews and articles may not be objective and that you are merely serving as a mouthpiece for advertisers to push their products without it looking like an ad.  If the tables were turned and you were truly trying to find out if Breast Gain was safe and effective, for example, where would you turn for information?  Also, have you personally or your staff or someone you know directly ever used the product and if so, what was your experience.  I’m sorry to be so skeptical but the only testimonials that get published are the positive ones and most likely, all of the women for whom it was a waste of money, don’t participate in the surveys and so the numbers are highly skewed towards success (real or imagined).  Help!  Is there any way to find out the truth about breast enhancing herbals?
Thanks so much for any light you can shed on this for me.
Regards,
XXXXX

I understand your skepticism.  Breast Gain most certainly does not work on everyone – I don’t know of a product that can claim 100% effectiveness.

I would suggest you turn to forums on the subject – for example, type in breast gain forums in google for objective real life open forum discussions on the product.
I have received emails though from women who both have had success and not had success with the product.  It comes with a money back guarantee, for this reason.  Hope this helps.  Thanks

Cost of Breast Implants

We’ve seen only a small shift in the change of the cost of breast implants over the past few years, and mostly we’ve seen a larger range of “discounted” breast surgeries offered.

A higher end boob job by a really good plastic surgeon who is either world renowned or a Hollywood favorite can cost Hollywood’s leading ladies anywhere from $15,000 to $40,000, while the rest of us can expect to pay an average of about $5,000 to $6,000 for the operation, depending on the location, the doctor, and the type of implant chosen.

Now, many women are going for the discounted breast implant procedures which can be as low as $3,500 to $4,000. Anything lower than that merits extreme caution, and I wouldn’t recommend it, because you might end up regretting it.

Breasts in the West

Wow, so I just got back from a vacation in Northern California, and I have to say, I don’t think I even saw one pair of fake breasts.  No sir, these ladies were 100% natural women.  When you think of California, you tend to think of breast implants, nose jobs and lip jobs, right?

Not in Northern California, or at least the part of CA I visited.  It’s full of free spirited, peace loving women, who preach that you should accept your body the way it is.  Granted, there are your fair share of naturally well endowed young ladies there too, but you can tell that it’s just that – naturally well endowed, not surgically aided in any way.

Not only that, women in Northern California barely wear any makeup, if any, and wear their hair in carefree styles, mostly letting their natural curls take over and not caring if they get a tinge of frizz.

Gotta tell you ladies, this trip was very refreshing from my usual midwest abode, where straight hair and made up faces are held in high esteem – maybe not so much to attract male attention, but really to gain the acceptance of other women.

What a crazy world we live in, eh?  Maybe some day I’ll retire out there, letting my natural curls run free and not wearing a speck of makeup, ever.

Does Tara Reid Really Have Soybean Implants?

A while ago I had read a story about how Tara Reid -the raspy voiced, partying actress who seems to lose more and more respect all the time (remember the “frankenboob” incident?), had soybean oil breast implants.

I’m not sure about you, but I saw the infamous pictures of her newly done breast implants, and they certainly did not look all too real.  But then again, who’s breast implants do look good when they’re first done?

Soybean oil implants were supposed to be an experimental thing, but you never know what these Hollywood stars can get their hands on before it’s available to the general public, you know?  Soybean oil was a new implant that was devised to give women a more natural alternative to breast implants, since it would look a little bit more natural, as well as be harmless if it ever did leak into the body or rupture.

Tara’s implants do look a bit better now that time has gone by.  I still think she went a little too big, but then again, I’m not sure how any implant would have looked on her.  Soybean oil or not? What do you think?

Breast Feeding and Anxiety

The latest news in yet another health benefit that is offered from breast feeding an infant – for the infant, that is – is a reduction in anxiety for the child right on through their kid career, in most cases.

The calming effects that breast feeding seem to have on infants seem to be more long lasting than initially thought.  It was thought that the relaxing effects on a baby only were temporary, as in for the day, night, or whatever, so the baby would sleep soundly through the night and be a generally calm, relaxed baby.

Yet, years after children stop being breast fed, these breast fed kids are showing better capabilities in dealing with stressful situations than kids who were fed formula from a bottle.  Why is this?  Well, breast milk is filled with nutrients that a baby cannot get from a bottle (formula).

It contains hormones and antibodies that go from mother to child.  Research has shown breast feeding increases a baby’s resistance to sickness and now it is also showing a capability of increasing stress management and anxiety in children as well.  This is another reason now why breast feeding comes so highly recommended for new moms.  Not only is it overall the most beneficial way to feed a child, but it is also cheap!
